The Kidnapping (3)

Arianell sits in the dark. It was hard to tell the time and direction they were moving in, all she knew was that the carriage hadn't stopped for a long time. It was an uneven ride at first, but the road became smoother, meaning they left the mountainous area and were in some populated area, or at least the path that nobles and merchants often took.

She focused on the voices outside and was able to make out some of their conversation. Because she looked weak, they didn't care about the possibility of her listening. She confirmed the client was a man and they were transporting her to his house.

Couples of faces came into her mind, some suspects were more likely, and some were crossed as improbably.
