Chapter-41

Following the conclusion of the first two matches, the referee deemed it necessary to temporarily suspend the subsequent match for a duration of 5 minutes. This decision was prompted by the unfortunate circumstances of two contenders from the preceding matches sustaining injuries, rendering them unable to rise and resume their next matches.

At present, both individuals have fallen into an unconscious state. They are currently in a state of temporary repose, awaiting a period of five minutes. Should they fail to regain consciousness within this timeframe, it has been decided that the highly anticipated showdown between Sin and a 12-year-old boy named Eric will commence as scheduled. However, in the event that they still remain unresponsive, these two individuals will be declared as the victorious champions of their group.

Sin approached Eric and inquired about his background. Nonetheless, Eric chose to remain silent, completely disregarding Sin's query.

Seeing his cold boy game Sin smiled. He has an attitude for a little guy. Sin then thought, What are you, Neji Hyuga?

Sin remained in that location and stayed by his side for the time being. The boy grew increasingly irritated, a clear indication visible on his furrowed brow.

After the passage of five minutes, neither of the two individuals had awakened from their slumber. Consequently, the referee made the decision to proceed with the match between Sin and Eric. Subsequently, both contenders made their way toward the arena, prepared to confront one another in a battle of skill.

After Sin inquired about the boy's level of confidence in defeating him, the boy responded by expressing his belief that Sin was excessively talkative. Upon hearing this remark, Sin maintained his smile without any signs of offense or annoyance.

Upon the referee's command to commence the battle, the boy and Sin positioned themselves directly facing one another, each brandishing their own unique weapon. Given Sin's overwhelming strength, it was abundantly clear that the little boy stood no chance against him. Astonishingly though, Sin made a conscious decision to restrain himself, opting to withhold his full power and instead observe the untapped potential that lay dormant within the boy's heart.

The young boy demonstrated his swordsmanship skills with gifted precision, effortlessly maneuvering his weapon in a display of skill compared to his age. Sin, on the other hand, was defending against the boy's relentless onslaught. In his previous battle, the boy had refrained from swinging his sword, however, this time he confidently unleashed his attacks. To outsiders, it became evident that the boy underestimated Sin, perceiving him to be a simple and easily defeated opponent.

From that point onwards, Sin presents the young boy with an opportunity to strike. However, the blade he wields is disappointingly feeble, causing Sin's eye to involuntarily reflect a sense of contempt towards it. Consequently, Sin effortlessly parries and deflects the boy's feeble attempts at attack.

Meanwhile, the young boy eagerly awaited the manifestation of Sin's power. With unwavering belief, the boy held the conviction that Sin possessed powers akin to his own. Despite his seemingly low status, Sin had astounded everyone by effortlessly defeating an expert of level 13 with a single punch – a display that was far from ordinary and left an indelible impression on all who witnessed it.

After spotting an unexpected opportunity, the young boy couldn't help but wonder why someone would provide such an obvious opening to others. This boy, whose name was Eric, possessed knowledge about Sin - the individual standing before him - and was well aware that Sin was the only living son of Archduke Abraham. Furthermore, Eric was also acquainted with Sin's peculiar title of the Lazy Emperor. Initially, Eric underestimated Sin, assuming him to be nothing more than his reputation suggested. However, as Eric observed Sin's actions and abilities, he quickly realized that there was much more to this enigmatic figure than meets the eye. Intrigued by the mystery surrounding Sin and unsure of his true power, Eric made the conscious decision to remain silent with him.

Eric is exerting all his efforts to strike a powerful blow on Sin's body, yet Sin's exceptional skill with his spear enables him to effectively block every attack. Eric possesses a unique ability that allows him to enhance his all attributes by multiplying his stats more than his opponent's stats every two minutes, but there is a crucial condition for this skill to be activated - he must make physical contact with his opponent at least once. Without achieving this crucial touch, Eric's extraordinary ability remains dormant and ineffectual.

He believed that attempting to fight against Sin would be pointless, as he believed that Eric would never be able to make contact with him. However, just when he thought it was futile to continue, an opportunity arose for Eric to finally reach out and touch Sin. And the moment Eric made contact with Sin, his extraordinary abilities were instantly activated.

There are only three minutes left in this match. However, regardless of the time constraint, he must complete everything within one minute after the initial two-minute requirement has elapsed. Although it may appear challenging on the surface, as all the stats will be multiplied compared to Sin's, he will still manage to overcome and defeat him.

Upon observing Sin's defensive behavior, he deduced that Sin was unable to unleash his surprise power akin to himself. As the stipulated two-minute condition was fulfilled, his power abruptly surged beyond that of Sin's.

With a disdainful laugh, he informed Sin that everything had come to an end. He then proceeded to unleash his Dancing Thunder Magic upon his sword, channeling all of his strength into a powerful strike against Sin. However, much to Eric's astonishment, Sin swiftly countered the attack by skillfully employing his Spear to defend himself.

Eric pondered over how he managed to achieve such a feat. It was not supposed to happen in such a way. Considering that all his statistics surpassed Sin's, Eric should have emerged victorious in their encounter by now. Nonetheless, to his utmost surprise, Sin had effortlessly defended himself against Eric's every move, not displaying even the slightest hint of struggle. In that moment, Eric caught a glimpse of Sin's mischievous grin, and an unsettling intuition began to creep into Eric's mind.
