Chapter-237

Sin was capable of defeating the bear with a single decisive strike. However, he opted to instead initially feign weakness, holding back to test his skills against the unleashed beast. Though he could have ended the fight swiftly, Sin wanted to gauge the full limits of his adversary's power if provoked to its ferocity.

As the bear strained against the binding wood branches, Sin knew it futile. These were not the same initial bindings - they had grown far more potent, now rivaling the Wood Style jutsu of Hashirama himself. The bear's impressive might was no match for their strength.

While the desperate beast wrestled the ever-tightening tendrils, Sin focused, reinforcing them with more chakra. The branches continued twisting around the bear, saplings into pythons. There would be no escape for the creature once ensnared in his Wood Style.

The branches constricted relentlessly, seeking to crush the bear's impressive musculature and drain its vitality. Sin modulated their pressure, neither ending the fight prematurely nor allowing the possibility of freedom. He remained in complete control.

With the wood contorting its body and siphoning its vigor, defeat was inexorable for the bear. Even its substantial fortitude could not endure the cascading damage once fully enmeshed by Sin's jutsu. This was an overwhelming force only slowly applied.

No segment of the bear avoided the branches' encroaching grasp as they snaked further around their victim. A quicker death could have been gifted, but Sin prolonged the process purposefully. The bear's suffering elicited no pity from him.

In time, the sadistic dance reached its end as the last flicker of defiance left the bear's eyes. Sin contemplated the corpse left in the branching cocoon's wake, satisfied with the dominance exhibited over the beast. Victory was total, submission absolute.

Releasing the jutsu, the withered bear collapsed before dissipating into particles of ashes. Sin had no further interest in the dead creature or the trivial battle it had posed. He was beyond this now, his power grown immense. The time for games had passed.

In a way, Sin almost missed the fleeting days when foes like this could entertain him, when his limits were still unknown. But his ascendance rendered such trifles hollow. All obstacles now only momentarily distracted him until obliterated.

Leaving the site of his most recent conquest, Sin moved on in search of anything substantial enough to capture his interest again. All would inevitably fall before him, but perhaps some glimmer of challenge yet remained somewhere. If so, Sin would find it and crush it just the same.

For now, his raw power surge carried forward momentum and took priority. Mastering all forms of strength was the current goal. Then, with unrivaled capabilities, he could pursue new diversions as he saw fit.

Victory over the bear was but a minor milestone in his inexorable climb to the pinnacle of all power imaginable. Sin did not celebrate small achievements. Until he stood truly peerless and transcendent, he would remain unsatisfied, ever seeking more.

So the bear was already forgotten, its death a mere microcosm of the fate awaiting all who stood in Sin's path. Complete dominance was his ambition; no cost too high or morals to constrain him. He would have it all in time. For now, further stepping stones awaited.

Having easily overcome the lesser enemies, Sin sighed as he continued advancing. Foes below level 80 posed no challenge anymore, conquerable through his innate power alone. Arriving at Floor 60, a necromancer boss awaited, supported by skeletal minions.

Sin engaged the level 70 skeletons first, dismantling them with trivial effort. They were mere prelude to the true adversary - the level 90 necromancer commanding them. Sensing its underlings' defeat, the necromancer underwent a monstrous transformation.

Sin watched impassively as the necromancer swelled in size to over 5 meters tall, skeletal frame expanding and reinforcing. But he felt no intimidation from the hulking undead abomination. Size mattered little when one's power transcended physical limitations.

Nevertheless, Sin respected the difficulty increase a transformative boss represented. He would not underestimate this evolved threat. The necromancer had yet to reveal the full capabilities of its new form.

As the skeletal titan lumbered toward him, Sin prepared to meet it in combat. He focused his chakra, assessing the appropriate jutsu to employ for an efficient victory. Settling on a technique, Sin activated his strategy.

Forming the snake seal, Sin activated the "Wood Release: Laughing Buddha" jutsu. This manifested several colossal wooden arms that burst forth from the ground around the necromancer. The animated limbs moved to grasp and crush the undead creature within their powerful hold.

The Laughing Buddha technique was infamous for its ability to restrain even tailed beasts. Against the necromancer, despite its substantial power, the jutsu was overkill. The wooden arms easily entrapped the struggling skeletal titan.

Once immobilized in the wooden limbs' grip, the necromancer's fate was sealed. The animate branches constricted relentlessly, tightening until the creature's bones cracked and splintered from the pressure. It did not take long for the undead abomination to be reduced to lifeless fragments.

With his enemy neutralized, Sin re-absorbed the massive wooden arms into the ground. Another monstrosity had been decisively erased from existence. Sin did not exult in the kill; it was merely another necessary step toward his ongoing goal.

Fear of the unknown would only limit his potential. Sin held no reservations about what lay ahead. Every obstacle in his path existed to be surpassed and fuel his growth. This stoic perspective fueled his tireless ascent.

No barrier could restrain someone with Sin's capabilities for long. All impediments would become stepping stones toward unmatched power. This dungeon was but the latest crucible to forge his indomitable will.

Through resolute effort, Sin would hone himself ever sharper. He was like flowing water, wearing down all resistance gradually over time. There was comfort in the inevitability of overcoming all through patience and perseverance.

With this mentality, Sin was prepared for whatever awaited in the darkened levels below. Each new revelation brought opportunity to better himself. Walking this path alone let him grow stronger with every victory. This was his solemn purpose.
