"So, how it's gonna be, really?"
The girl didn't answer immediately. She slowly took a tiny sip of her cappuccino, dragging it out, perhaps to give herself more time to think.
I stared at her with slightly narrowed eyes, tapping my fingers on the table to express my growing annoyance. I was sitting comfortably on the leather sofa, leaning back nonchalantly, quite contrasting with her straight and stiff posture.
"Well?" I finally lost my patience.
The girl sighed. "If I'm to be honest, it would be best if you agreed to those rules. It would make it much easier for me to push the project forward with the organization."
I let out a short chuckle. "Yeah, that's not happening." I found the very idea of agreeing to give up on my ability to break the reality laws ridiculous.
The girl nodded slowly. "I expected this much, so I tried to find a solution that would allow you to keep your abilities with a minimum, or possibly even no restriction…"
