As I expected, nothing significant happened in the following days, neither to me nor to the boy. The Sunday arrived without any more accidents.
Around noon, I went to meet that Alyssa girl, as planned.
She was already there, waiting impatiently. It was a bit funny, seeing her so nervous. Well, she still mostly maintained her composure, so most people probably wouldn't notice anything, but after spending some time with her, I was able to pick up on any small change in her behavior. And now, I could easily tell she was a bit anxious. She hasn't been like that even when I first carried her over the rooftops, or when I slammed her against the wall after she met with the boy…
I wonder what must have happened. Some trouble in the organization, perhaps?
"Hi," I smiled at her, leisurely walking over. "What's up with you today?"
