37. WEEK 4

When she had emptied the bowl of ice cream, she lifted her eyes to stare at Vivian and froze. The woman was staring at her in a very weird and frightening way.

"Is everything alright, Vee?" Keturah softly asked as she carefully dropped the ceramic bowl on the center table made of wood.

At her question, Vivian narrowed her eyes further as if trying to discern something very strange.

"Vee?" Keturah called out again as a deep furrow marred her forehead.

As if coming back to reality, Vivian offered a harmless smile before getting up from the blue armchair she sat on which was opposite the one Keturah sat on.

"I don't know if it's my eyes but your skin seems to be glowing and you look more prettier." She stated as she sat beside Keturah while still watching her closely.

"Was that why you gave me that look?" Keturah whined because it frightened her a bit.

"I was just trying to understand why…could it be the pregnancy?" Vivian inched closer and touched Keturah's smooth face.
