To the Sect

Xia Tao:

Zhang Mei, Zhang Jing, Hu Mei, and Xia Lina stood before the gigantic flying shuttle that would take us to the sect. We were all dressed in the attire of outer disciples, with the engraving of "Serenity Peak" and the motto "Elevate the Spirit, Embrace the Bliss." Only Mei wore a slightly different robe, indicating that she was an outer Elder with a cultivation level Cultivation of Inner Qi (3rd level) - 5th stage. She had been chosen to govern outer mountain territory, as promised, somewhere on the outskirts.

"Wow, that's a huge shuttle, didn't expect that" I said with surprise as I examined the shuttle, which was about 10 meters in height and 40 meters in length. It visually looked like a gigantic flying ship with sails on the sides and top of the ship. It was quite unusual, especially with the horizontal sails at the bottom. All the sails were embroidered with symbols, probably related to the arrays for flight and control, though I might be mistaken. My intuition told me I was right, but I would need to confirm it later.

It looked quite magnificent, and my maids were equally amazed.

We entered the shuttle along with other people, and I was astonished by the size inside. Apparently, the interior was even larger than the outside. I was amazed; in all my life in this world, I had no idea that people here could manipulate space like this! It was marvelous. In my previous life, I was impressed by the tents from Harry Potter. Ah, finally, I could do something like that just because I wanted to! Haha, it's splendid. I will have to find out how accessible this knowledge and skill are.

While I was smiling and contemplating what I could do with this knowledge, my attendants were examining the interior of the shuttle with great amazement.

"I've heard about this, but I never expected we would encounter it so soon," Mei said enthusiastically.

We made our way to the assigned cabin, waiting for the departure. People were bustling around the ship, running back and forth on various errands as we moved towards our room. It seemed strange, but I brushed it off and continued on.

When we entered the room, we found it to be a massive empty space, about 100 by 100 meters, with several toilets on the side. It seemed like it was meant for transporting a large number of people, or perhaps they provided everyone with large rooms.

"Mei, how long is the flight?" I asked.

"We'll be flying for about three hours, Master," Mei replied, taking a seat beside me. Her sister sat next to me and pulled me onto her lap. Given that I looked like a 12-year-old boy and she was a head taller than me, it seemed relatively normal from the outside, but it still bothered me that I didn't look my age. When will I look my actual age? Sigh.

"Jing, why do you have to do that?" I sighed and asked, while Mei shot her sister a disapproving look, promising her a scolding when they were alone. The others sat nearby, waiting with interest to see what would happen next.

"Haha, Master, how can I allow you to sit on this dirty and cold floor? It's much warmer and cleaner to sit on my lap, and I find it pleasant" Jing said with a mischievous smile, hugging me slightly.

"Don't allow yourself to do anything unnecessary" Mei hissed threateningly. Her eye was even twitching.

"Come on, sister, I'm just taking care of the young master. Don't be jealous" Jing said with a teasing expression.

"Alright, alright. Despite the strange situation, I must admit that sitting like this is rather comfortable" I couldn't help but notice.

"Speaking of Ye Chen, what do you know about him?" I asked Mei, expecting him to have made a name for himself in the Eternal Flame Sect. Mei poured me a cup of tea.

"Well, he joined the sect and became a disciple of Elder Ironfist Mountain. He has a rather peculiar reputation, but everything seems fine" Mei replied.

"Alright, alright. Well, we'll definitely meet him someday" I added

"Why someday? He's with us on the shuttle" Mei said in surprise.

"Pffft" I spat out some tea.

"Mei, which sect did he join?" I asked suspiciously.

"He joined our sect, Master. I didn't finish my previous sentence, and you interrupted me. While he was being beaten by Xu Hao, he missed the opportunity to join the Eternal Flame Sect and ended up joining ours" Mei explained.

"Well, as they say, if you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans. Oh well" I sighed.

As we flew, I asked Jing about what she had been up to lately and why I hadn't seen her. Listening to her story about how she went with my brother on some errands and ended up in a training camp, we managed to pass the time during the journey.

When we finally landed, a spiritual signal resonated through the ship, and a voice announced, "Please disembark; we have arrived at our destination, your new home in the foreseeable future."

"Well, I guess it's time" I said, getting up from my comfortable and warm spot. We all gathered, stood up, and made our way to the exit. When we stepped outside and saw what lay ahead, we were all left breathless. We were on an enormous mountain range, so high up that the base of the mountain we were on wasn't even visible. We were above the cloud level, and the clouds were below us. It was a breathtaking sight, truly unforgettable.

It reminded me of the lyrics of a song from my past life: "only mountains you haven't been to can be better than mountains...". It was indeed difficult to imagine a more beautiful view than what we were witnessing.

At that moment, the leader of our group spoke up, "What you see now is what every Inner and Core Disciple can witness, as well as the owners of personal mountains. Strive to develop, strive to become stronger, so that you can enjoy this view from your abode every day."

We were all mesmerized by the sight and the words spoken. This place was truly remarkable.
