The Bee Mission!

Some Random Outer Disciple:

After joining the sect, I thought a new life would begin, and I would begin to comprehend the wonders of cultivation and development. My expectations weren't entirely met. As a result, I found myself as an outer disciple without any outstanding talents. In practice, people like me became the service staff of the sect: servants, cleaners, "fetch this, fetch that, go away and don't bother us." It's disappointing, but as a bonus for joining, we were all given the "Unity with the Heavens" cultivation method. That's pretty much it.

Everything else is available only through sect points, which are very hard to earn. If things continue this way, I'll have to work every day for a year just to stay here.

Plus, I've noticed that extortion and racketeering thrive here, and I'm more than certain they will take a portion of my earnings.

I'd like to earn more, but I'm too weak to hunt spiritual beasts, and all the tasks for gathering herbs get taken very quickly. As a result, there are usually only cleaning tasks left when I come to pick one.

Everything changed when I met a wonderful girl named Zhang Jing. As soon as I saw her, I fell in love! She has light pinkish-red hair, a gentle and kind nature, and a warm gaze!

She brought an announcement that the Elder of their mountain needed 30 boys and 100 girls. The requirements were neat appearance, polite and diligent character, and minimal talent.

Such opportunities arise from time to time, but I've never been lucky enough to come across one. They offered a place for cultivation, tasks that would allow us to earn sect points, and for those who are hardworking, full board covered by the sect points for staying on their territory.

It might not be much, but for someone like me, it's a heaven-sent gift. I didn't think much; I quickly signed up, gathered my things, and came to the meeting point the next morning. There stood my angel with pink hair, ready to explain.

"Welcome, all of you who came today, as future disciples of Serenity Peak. As you can understand from the name, our peak is known for its tranquility and peacefulness. But that doesn't mean we won't be able to stand up for ourselves. You all have the opportunity to enter a peaceful harbor, cultivate, and grow."

"I want to warn you right away that those who disrupt the peaceful life on our mountain should be careful. For such violations, you will be expelled, and in extreme cases, executed on the spot or sent to a place you'd rather not go. But don't worry, for those who plan to live conscientiously on our territory, today will be the second-best day of your life."

"As part of the special conditions, you will have to take an oath of Dao about not disclosing what happens on our territory. If you find this unacceptable, please leave. Some tasks will also require the same, but more stringent, vows. We have our secrets, and we will do everything to keep them! Again, if you think this is not suitable for you, please leave."

I listened and was somewhat surprised. These requirements were rare during mountain entrance. As far as I know, they were quite rare, and here it might be a chance to get something really good or fall into a trap.

While I was thinking, some people, about 10 out of 100+, left the gathering point, screaming that it was a scam, against the rules, and so on, but in reality, there were very few of them.

Most people stayed. Apparently, they were the ones who didn't have many prospects elsewhere. Looking around, I saw people who had hope for the future and expectations. Interestingly, there were many people with disabilities, such as missing limbs or scars covering exposed parts of their bodies, and yet this was not a reason for rejection.

The only person who was sent away among those who came was some drunk guy, a guy who was in dirty clothes, and it seemed like he didn't understand why he was here. Everyone else was accepted.

We took the standard Dao oath, well-known to everyone, and received patches on our outer disciple clothes indicating our affiliation. They also informed us that in our current status, we can leave the mountain at any time, but we most likely won't be accepted back.

In the end, we all loaded into a shuttle that the girl with pink hair had arranged, and we set off to our new life.

It's been a week since we moved to our new home, and I can finally say that life is getting better. We can live here peacefully, and the density of spiritual energy is equivalent to what was in the business center of the outer sect of the sect. Judging by the tasks we are assigned, everything is done to improve the spiritual background.

Gathering and harvesting new plants, planting and taking care of existing ones. There are even requests for quite rare plants that can be found both in the Spirit Forest near the sect, although it's far from our home, and in the desert. Several teams have already been formed, carrying out various missions!

It's my turn! After I settled into the new place and realized that I liked it here, I decided to join a group that recently returned from a mission and is getting ready for another one. A beekeeping mission! It sounds simple; we had bees at home, small spiritual creatures. It should be relatively easy to transport them; you just need to smoke them in a certain way, and they'll fall asleep, then move them to the new location. Sounds easy, but there's a catch: the bees we want to collect are in the Spirit Forest and are supposed to be slightly stronger than what I'm used to. Still, not too much!

As a result, 10 of us were sent on this mission. As we were preparing for the expedition, another local disciple named Ye Chen joined us. He said he was strong and would watch over us.

He needed some plant in the forest, but I didn't pay much attention. In any case, it's more fun together. The only thing that annoyed me was the talking goose who wouldn't shut up. He constantly talked and often said offensive things, even about me. I tried to confront him, but he always dodged and continued to insult me. In the end, I decided to ignore him, and after 30 minutes of insults, he seemed to give up.

I hope this guy doesn't cause us any trouble! He's weird; he kept encouraging Ye Chen to fuck some veiled girl, claiming that if she wears a veil, she must be beautiful and hot. Interestingly, I didn't see any veiled girls among us, so maybe they crossed paths somewhere else.

Anyway, after two days, we reached the forest and began to explore it. We were a group of 10 people, advancing into the forest, occasionally fighting off spiritual beasts blocking our path. After another day, we split up from Ye Chen. He said he needed to go deeper, while we had to search in this area. We spent a day looking for bees and finally found a beehive.

Waiting until nightfall, we started setting up a sleep array and burning special herbs to put the bees to sleep, so we could transport them to our location. Later, we would establish a connection between the beehive and our Elder using special techniques, and the mission would be completed. I was eagerly anticipating the reward and sat waiting while the sleep array was almost finished.

Then, loud noises and sounds of battle erupted somewhere nearby. Those idiots had awakened the bees, and in their confusion, the bees flew out of the hive. We had to manually contain them within the sleep array to prevent them from scattering. As a result, I and everyone on my team were stung by the bees. We managed to transport the hive back to our mountain in such state. I already hate this fuckers that caused it! I almost sure it was the goose and Ye Chen, I wish they will be fucked up somehow!
