Unique Offer

Mei smiled mysteriously and led me upward. The higher we climbed, the denser the spiritual energy became. We reached a door, and Mei gestured for me to open it.

Opening the door, I was greeted by an unexpected sight—the summit of our mountain with a small pavilion on top.

"Wow, the density of spiritual energy here is about four to five times higher than in the mansion" I exclaimed.

"Yes, it's our pride. In the future, it will increase even more, though not drastically. Currently, it works by gathering energy from the entire mountain and filtering it through an array using Celestium" Mei explained.

"In general, this setup can be done anywhere, but it requires a large amount of this mineral and is simply not cost-effective. However, since we discovered giant deposits of this mineral, we don't have any issues with its availability. But we will need to increase the overall energy on the mountain for it to grow further" Mei explained.

"That's wonderful" I said, taking in the view. The overcast weather gave the pavilion an almost mysterious feel. I wondered how it would look at sunset and sunrise.

"Maybe we should move here?" I suggested.

"That wouldn't be the most sensible decision, Master, at least not for now. The spiritual energy here is too dense for your body and could negatively affect your development. It's better to proceed step by step. For now, this place should only be used for training to strengthen and expand your conduits, and even then, no more than three hours a day" Mei advised.

"Okay, I'll heed your advice" I said, with a slightly disappointed tone. Meanwhile, I began to feel a slight tingling sensation all over my body, likely due to the over-saturated spiritual energy.

"Let's have some herbal drink here, Master. While we're at it, I'll share my thoughts on what you could attempt to obtain with your special ability" Mei suggested.

We walked over and sat in the pavilion. Mei took out an herbal drink and poured it.

"I think, given that we are still relatively small and weak compared to the local cultivators, the best thing we can do is buy time. To live more peacefully, we need to convince the locals that we have a powerful backer, someone very strong. The stronger they believe our backer is, the better. This way, we can quietly and peacefully continue to develop, and then adjust our strategy as the situation changes" Mei explained.

Listening to Mei, I pondered the situation. Even if Mei concealed her cultivation level, it was true that, compared to the local cultivators, she barely ranked at the level of inner disciples, or perhaps a very weak outer disciple elder. Given that there is currently an elder scouring the sect for Li Meiying, if we could establish ourselves as more than ordinary, we might be able to deter him. On the other hand, how to achieve this was unclear, considering the random junk my ability had produced so far.

Hmm, there were no other viable alternatives.

"Yes, Mei, I agree. The plan is sound. Let's proceed," I said, focusing on the task at hand—to deceive the elder into believing we had a powerful backer.

Unique Offer: Help Good People Get to the Auction

What could be simpler? What could go wrong?!

Propose to auction several faceted Celestium crystals in the shape of pyramids (Blueprints included) and request that an invitation to the auction be sent to the Red Forest Mountain Palace, informing them that such pyramids will be on display.

This offer seems intriguing. It involves a bit of risk and effort but also has the potential for significant rewards. I'll need to think carefully about how to present these Celestium pyramids and ensure that our sect will sent the auction invitation to the Red Forest Mountain Palace.

Reward: Golem with a Three-Day Lifespan

Details: The golem will last for three days without significant energy expenditure. Using its power will decrease its lifespan proportionally. It is at the Refining of Elemental Energy, 7th rank level.

"Wow, this is amazing! This level is several major tiers above Mei and just slightly below the highest rank in our sect. If such a golem 'visits' us, the elder would treat us like royalty. Anyone capable of 'creating' such a golem could easily obliterate half the sect, if not the entire thing. Usually, a golem is several levels lower than its master, so this would definitely work in our favor. The only question is, how can inviting a neutral sect to an auction be so suspiciously simple? On the other hand, as they say, 'Don't look a gift horse in the mouth.'"

Ding The blueprints have been delivered to your ring. The golem will be delivered after the pyramids are created! Have a good day.

Hmm, did I just hear a woman's laugh? I looked around, but everything was quiet. Very strange, and it gave me goosebumps.

"Mei, can we make 4-5 of these?" I asked, handing her the blueprints from my ring.

Mei opened the blueprints, examined them, and said, "Yes, I think we can, but it will take quite a few attempts to get them just right, and we'll likely spoil a lot of material in the process."

"That's fine, we can use the spoils to fertilize the strawberries. The bees will be happy" I mused, thinking about when we'd finally get some honey. I'd have to check on that.

"Why do we need these?" Mei asked.

"Oh, my dear, if we can make these pyramids a week before the auction, I'll be able to get us a golem at the Refining of Elemental Energy, 7th rank. It'll only last three days with minimal energy expenditure" I explained.

Mei's eyes widened, and she nearly choked on her herbal drink, coughing and sputtering. "Are you serious, Master? Is your ability really that powerful?"

"Yes and no. Consider this time special; the chances of it happening again are very slim. Usually, I end up with much less useful things" I admitted.

Mei sprang to her feet. "I'll go right away and arrange for us to start practicing making these pyramids" she said, about to rush off when I caught her by the hand.

The tingling sensation I felt at the beginning of our conversation had grown into a fiery energy surrounding me, filling me with power.

"Mei, I've been thinking, how will physical training affect us in this energy-rich environment?" I asked, a mischievous grin spreading across my face, and I pulled her to the ground.
