Cornered Beast's Sacrifice

Thud! Thud! Thud!

'Only a little bit more.'

After repeating the patternless attacks for another half an hour, the Bugbear's left arm was already showing signs of breaking apart.

Although the shoulder no longer supported movement a small while ago, the Bugbear still tried to use his forearm to do any damage. As such, Damian moved on to the elbow, eventually, half of the Bugbear's remaining weapon announced its retirement.

Of course, that came at the cost of Damian's stamina. Even if he took small breaks in between, Damian knew that he wouldn't be able to last another 30 minutes. It all had to end soon.

"Gr-Growwwl!"

The Bugbear looked like it would crawl on the ground if it could crush Damian, but it was at least smart enough to know that it would make it even more vulnerable.

Instead, despite suffering from a similar, if not an even worse, lack of stamina, it put all it had into every arm swing.
