Rather than shining brightly, the revealed stone had a dim yellow hue, not so different from an old light bulb. However, its size was almost bigger than the heart itself.

How the Bugbear could live with such a big lump studded in the source of its life was truly a mystery.

Naturally, Damian had no time left to admire the large crystal, the clock was almost up. If the Life Stone didn't live up to the expectations, then this was the end.

While he prayed for a miracle to happen, Damian had no regrets. He had to endure incredible agony to reach this point, but it was all in the past. He had passed that hurdle.
