Mako usually went out of his way to avoid all forms of discussion when it came to talking about his own family, outside of Hadok Shimura and Kenma Iroas. As a result, the redhead knew very little about Vesper Kunzite and those related to him, having only met the man a single time since meeting his fellow Elemental Rookie. He knew that Vesper was heavily involved in the affairs of the WGC as well as a prominent member of the Mapel bloodline, being one of its core members, but not much more than that.

There had always been information available on Mako's father for Jak to learn more if he so chose, but he had never pursued it out of respect for his brothers privacy.
