Harlan: So your sister stole bombs from T.H.E.P.A.

Clair: Yeah, no shit Sherlock.

I groaned as I got up, and stretched my arms.

Harlan: So what is her plan?

Clair thought about it, before speaking.

Clair: My sister plans to bomb different business headquarters in London.

Harlan: Why?

Clair: We got an anonymous client. Wanted to boost their business.

Harlan: Client got a name?

Clair nodded no.

Clair: So what was the plan?

Harlan: Why do you care?

Clair: Why won't you tell me?

Harlan: Because a few minutes ago you were torturing me.

Clair: And fewer minutes ago I just saved your ass.

Harlan: After you framed me.

Clair: TO GET YOU OUT OF HERE!

I froze.

Clair: I framed you so you could get locked up somewhere and away from all this shit. I didn't let Chase kill you when she could have any second, and I just busted your ass out of here.

Clair grabbed my hand, and looked in my eyes.

Clair: Harlan, please... leave. Run.

I looked at Clair.

Harlan: Come with me.

Suddenly, gunshots. Clair and I looked at where the noises were coming from, then back to each other.

Clair: Damn it. You're not leaving aren't you?

Harlan: The bombs, they could all be remote activated. Where are they being controlled from?

Clair: Basement. I'll take you there. C'mon.

Clair led me out of the holding cell. We walked back to the party where agents of T.H.E.P.A. and Chase's men started to fight, May leading the T.H.E.P.A. agents. Once May spotted us, she ran to me.

May: WHAT'S HAPPENING?

Harlan: DELVEY IS PLANNING ON USING THE BOMBS TONIGHT! THE TWENTY-FIVE MISSING BOMBS? SHE HAS THEM ALL AND IS PLANNING ON LETTING THEM ALL GO BOOM.

May: SHIT.

Clair: WE COULD STILL STOP HER!

May looked at May, then at me. I knew what she was thinking.

Harlan: IT'S WORTH A SHOT.

May: DO YOU TRUST HER, HARLAN?

I looked at Chase, then at May.

Harlan: I do.

May nodded.

Clair: We need to go to the basement. We need you to-

May: Keep the fight here. Got it.

Clair nodded and started to walk away. I followed Clair.

May: HEY ASSHOLE!

ASShole, not ARSEhole. I turned back to May.

May: Don't die there, okay?

I didn't know what to say. I just remember one minute I was standing there, looking for a snarky comeback, and the next, we had our arms wrapped around each other in a hug. After a while, the hug broke.

May: Harlan.

Harlan: Yes?

May: Go to your girlfriend.

May snickered and I went to follow Clair. As Clair and I went in the elevator, and Clair returned to me my fully loaded pistol, I had this dreaded feeling as though I was missing something.

Something that would come back to bite my in the ARSE.
