Adapting To You

"Thank you, Tristan. I'm really sorry for the inconvenience. It seems like Sam has been quite a handful for you, even though we've only just met," Liz confessed, her voice tinged with a mix of gratitude and guilt.

Tristan let out a light chuckle, his eyes reflecting a sense of amusement as he replied, "Don't worry. I forgive her because she's pretty."

Caught off guard by his teasing response, Liz's brow furrowed as she inquired further, "What if she wasn't pretty?"

A mischievous glint danced in Tristan's eyes as he teased back, "Ah, don't ask. You might not like the answer."

After a brief pause, Tristan's tone softened, assuming a more serious note as he continued, "Oh, Liz, consider listening to Gabriel's advice sometimes. He may come off as annoying, but he's not a bad person. In fact, from certain perspectives, he's genuinely kind-hearted. Just something to think about."
