CHAPTER 2: RESURRECTION AND A DUEL

Elza opened her eyes but, something felt off. her eyes seem quite different than before more slanted, and her pupil a little darker. Looking around, her head feels dizzy she touches with his right hand.

"ouch, my body should heal automatically, well I think it still need time to adjust after getting rebirth. Ah fine I use a normal spell then"

*LAEKNA*

green light covered her body, her wound heal instantly. From a distance Elza heard a boy child screaming, She headed there.

A giant red, twin horn, rattlesnake chasing some boy. The boy is stuck in a dead-end underground cave, standing at the corner in panic while screaming for help.

"Vulnus!". Elza cast a spell from the distance.

The snake butchered into pieces by the gaze of the wind. Outside of the underground cave, the villager flocked together, to search for the boy and princess Elza that went missing. The ground rumbles heavily a giant hole emerges, and Elza and the boy blasting out from the ground. Elza delivers the boy to his mother. They reunited with joy.

"Next time don't wander around in the forest alone.

"thank you princess Elza. the boy's mother's gratitude to Elza."

The other villager looks confused, in their mind their princess just now using magic. Everyone knows their princess can't use magic. Princess Elza feels awkward

"what are you looking at?! Everything is under control, you should get back home already. I order them."

"Una! "Una!. Elza shout for una to come.

Some villagers approach Elza.

"excuse me my lady, who's Una?."

"Una Roswell, she is a girl, short silver purple hair and one of whom is called the carved one in the academy. She is my friend and also my guard. I explained."

"um… beg your pardon, my lady, actually you sent here alone by your majesty."

Hearing the villager answer elza mutter on her own.

"ah…its not good, how can you expect people to remember when you are rebirth to a past life. It was obvious you're the only one who know the future. The question is, how far I have returned to?"

after a brief of pausing moment, Elza decided to examine on her own, she ordered the villager to return home.

At the same time at the forest near Roman-Kova Academy. Una participate in a camping event that have been conducted for 3 days 2 nights. This is their second night. She ate at the corner of the campfire, staying away from the crowd.

"how long do you think the princess gonna be exiled?"

"don't know, who cares about a useless princess that can't even use magic."

"yeah, a princess is supposed to be our role model, a princess who can't use any magic is inappropriate to be a princess in the first place."

Three people talked badly about Elza. Overheard the conversation, Una confronted 3 people who talked bad Elza.

"take back what you said!"

their group leader, ZINNIA VON ANDER, a bright blond hair girl stands up.

"make me! duel with me una the unstable."

watching the commotion other students began to gather at una location.

"fight, fight, fight." They cheer.

"if you win, I'll take my word back." Zinnia offered.

"if you lose stop talking bad about elza ever again!." Una answered.

Agree about the term Una & zinnia face to face each other, 4 student creates a magic barrier engulfing the duelist. The other students watching closely outside the barrier. both una & zinnia take a fight stance while waiting for the start signal.

"There is still time to surrender, roswell." Zinnia tells una.

Una ignore zinnia and keep focused, she ready her bow that was made from her mana.

"3, 2, 1, go!" one of the students gives the signal.

*parspet!

Zinnia channeling her mana into her feet, dashing to una position. Swoosh! With high speed, she swing her energy rapier from right to left side and aimed toward his face. by reflex una hold it by crossing her hand tightly parrying her bow with the sword. Unable to match the power, Una was thrown off but, she didn't fall.

Seeing una didn't fall, zinnia continue her attack. She dashes again, and Una follows her move, channeling her mana into her feet. She dashed backward while shooting her bow to zinnia.

Zinnia moves in a zig zag to evade, when the arrow bullet passes her. Crang! A chain shape of mana energy emerges from within the bullet, binding zinnia and stopping her movement.

"you'll lose, as promised. now take back what you said." Una intimidating zinnia.

In an instant zinnia is gone, Turn out it's just a mirage. From behind she poked Una shoulder from behind. SMACK! Zinnia punches Una in the stomach. She falls to the ground, zinnia stands in front of her, and looks her down.

"Just a simple mirage you can't even detect it. so, wanna continue?"

Boom! Something break in through the barrier. a speck of huge dust covered the area inside of it, all of the students were also shocked.

"Una! why wouldn't you fight back?! Are you going easy on her?!. a voice from inside the smoke"

"who is that? Zinnia shout"

Elza makes her appearance under the slowly wore out smoke.

"A-arent you under the condition of exile by the king? A…And how do you get here?, From here to your location takes 3 days journey" Zinnia surprised.

Elza dashed forward toward zinnia. "there's a device called transportation magic." Elza tell.

"so fast! Zinnia blocks Elza attacks.

Elza raises the speed of her swordplay. Zinnia trying to keep up they parry each other.

"come on! Where is all the coky tone of voice as you did earlier? Is this all you've got?! Elza said."

"fire burst"

using her right hand zinnia bursting a flame but, Elza dodge it by moving her head to the left side. With her left hand, Elza put his palm into zinnia stomach. A giant gaze of wind bursting from Elza's palm threw zinnia forward. She crashed down into a tree hardly. Elza approaches Una and reaches out her hand.

"are you okay? "

when Una takes Elza hand, all of a sudden inside Elza's consciousness a white sphere sucks her spirit. While, In reality, Elza's body fainted out.
