Chapter 44 finished travels

 Amadea POV

My eyes fluttered open slowly my vision still a bit misty feeling a bit confused. It felt like the best rest I had in a long time. Sleeping with Apael I could rest but it was a different kind of comfort. But I was not able to find out why it felt so great.

I curled up more into my blanket just enjoying the soft bliss. While I was still nice and cozy I decided to talk to Lexi in my head. " Lexi, why was a memory unlocked? I did not spend any points on it."

[ " Momma something weird happened last night. I was unable to see anything and for some reason a memory was unlocked without the cost of points."]

Listening to her explanation I found it even more strange but everything else looked good in my status and nothing changed. I folded up the comfortable blanket and put it away in my bag to make sure I would not lose it and could keep it safe.

Once everything was cleaned up I took a quick shower before getting with Apael and Ren." We need to quicken our pace and return to the capital. I have some business that needs to be sorted."

They replied with a quick nod before we made our journey to the teleportation array. As the teleportation circle activated, I covered myself in chaos energy to try and prevent myself from getting sick.

Once we arrived in the Kingdom of Envy I looked smugly at Apael for not getting sick. But suddenly, it hit me quickly, causing me to vomit and sob. Maybe this body is not ever going to be used to this.

After Apael finished her laughing fit and Ren patted my back to comfort me, we did some quick looking around to see how things were moving.

From the main look of everything it was mostly stereo-typical envy. Most of the items were imported, and people were more jealous of the well-off families, causing more internal friction, leading to multiple different gangs.

There would not be many things that needed to be changed. We would just need to unite everyone's envy and use it against outsiders. Turn it into more patriotic that we demons should have everything good from all the races and strengthen our bonds as a race.

Once I finished looking around I kept my notes to discuss them with Invid once we returned to the capital. We quickly returned to the teleporter going to the Kingdom of Greed.

Luckily I did not eat anything in the Envy Kingdom so I did not vomit this time only dealing with extreme nausea. 

Walking around the Greed Kingdom, it was extremely passable, with no real issues. Multiple different demons met and dabbled in commerce, allowing them to collect taxes on imported goods. For it being a greedy place nothing was priced overly expensive they just had a tax on all goods.

Nodding in satisfaction I stretched and rubbed my eyes feeling a bit exhausted. We spent 6 hours in the Kingdom of Envy and another 6 hours here. Spending 12 hours traveling and doing diplomatic work was exhausting.

"Ama, you should really take a break and eat something. We do not have to do all of this at once you have 8 months left of this school year to deal with everything." Apael looked at me worried and tried to advise me but I shook my head.

"I may have time but can my people wait? Do they deserve to be bound and have these issues cast on them? It has to change and the sooner the better. It will give us time to get our strength up." I gave her a few soft pecks on her lips.

Before we knew it our soft pecks gradually turned deeper and deeper until our tongues were intertwined trying to fight for dominance. Our kiss only broke when we were about to run out of air.

I panted as my heart raced wanting her more as I leaned into her embrace trying to calm down my lust and possessive desire to claim her right here and now. When she least expected it I bit her neck leaving a mark before giving her a smug smirk.

We hurried back to the teleporter, preparing for the next jump heading into the Kingdom of Gluttony. As we began traveling around it was a huge surprise. 

As far as the eye could see they had food stalls with massive amounts of delicious smells. I could not stop myself from hitting up each stall on the street. The cooking was superb but not as great as Koil's. He was the head of the sin of greed, so it was obvious his cooking would be supreme.

Even though it was worse the foods all burst with exotic new flavors. The meat was bursting with juice and was crunchy. When I thought back to my previous life in the modern world I never tasted anything this great.

Strangely, they could even make the bones from the chicken soft and sweet like a desert. Once the slightly greasy crunchy chicken was gone, you could bite into the bone and depending on it would be a different flavor.

The one I had the bone had a strawberry filling and was very appetizing. I started to rub my belly making my way back to the teleporter.

"Amadea maybe we should wait before we go to the sloth kingdom?" Ren looked concerned, but I didn't even look back as the teleporter went off, sending me to the Kingdom of Sloth.

Instantly I was filled with regret after losing my dinner I felt so much better. Ren came up to me rubbing my back and shaking his head as if looking at an idiot.

I looked up pitifully and teary-eyed and started crying. "I–i-i am hungry…"

Apael couldn't stop herself from laughing at my silly antics making me sob more while my stomach grumbled. "Ama I can not help but laugh at you. You are just too cute sometimes. Come on lets go get some food and walk around and rest. We can return to the capital tomorrow."

She gave me a quick kiss on the nose before taking my hand and leading me to a restaurant to get my fill. Once I was finished eating we walked around looking at what this Kingdom was like.

It was more of a luxury relaxation spot. They had public bathhouses, massage parlors, and even different kinds of hotels with different aesthetic designs from forestry all the way to a more minimal cot design.

They had something for everyone just to relax and enjoy themselves. I decided to go into a place for a full body massage and a good sleep. Ren went ahead to a place to rest and would meet us tomorrow at the teleporter.

I stripped down completely naked allowing the cute massage girl to massage every inch of my body sending me into a sweet dream.

 Apael POV

Once I saw Ama close her eyes and fall asleep from her massage I shot a death glare at the girl giving her a massage and came up behind her. It was a simple task to cover her mouth and slit her throat without waking up my precious baby. This girl just had to touch what she should not have. I let out a sigh and cleaned up before putting some oil on my hands and continuing the massage for my dear girlfriend.
