「 Warning! Detected [Three] stats above twenty in an undesired area! 」
"What..?"
「 Applying penalty to user 'Xela'.. 」
"K-hukk... auuuyyghhhhh??!!!!"
「 All stats will decrease by four. 」
「 Penalty applied. 」
"Ah..."
Shit.
「 Penalty will last until the Boss room. 」
My mind was incredibly confused.
I couldn't believe it.
'I gained extra stats?'
At first, I believed that there were restrictions in place of preventing me from getting stronger in terms of my stats.
But I was wrong.
"This unfair dungeon, I swear.."
I swear that it was too harsh against me.
I barely managed to defeat this much and now-
「 All mobs from the first room have been defeated 」
「 You have completed 1/3 areas within the dungeon. 」
"Ha.. seriously."
I was only a third of the way there?
I may have struggled at winning this time, gained a penalty, but there was one thing that I was sure of.
'This is going to be hell and I will have to endure it.'
"Augh.."
The groans of pain never ended.
"Open Inventory."
「 Inventory 」
「 3 Mana Scripts(E) 」
.
.
.
「 'Healing Potion(D)' 」
"There it is."
A piece of glass—more specifically, a glass flask appeared in my hand.
It had a red liquid inside, which already made it obvious what it was.
I had to thank Aree for giving me this health potion.
"Never would I have bought that I would thank her out of all the people.."
If I didn't have this...
Slide—
I pulled up my shirt and poured the potion over my back where one of my bones was cracked.
"Aughh.. dammit!"
My skin felt as if it was being burnt under a hundred degree metal rod.
The liquid immediately evaporated when the skin and bone made contact with it.
—I would definitely not have survived this dungeon without it.
The burning feeling that felt like an eternity stopped.
I wore my shirt and breastplate.
I found it quite impressive seeing how after pouring the liquid on my cracked bone and other injured areas,
I felt ten times better.
Almost all major injuries had vanished and only a few minor ones were left.
I opened my inventory again and picked out some food.
I hadn't touched it since the end of the tutorial.
「 Bread(F) 」
I held it in my hand while,
「 Water bottle(F) 」
The other stayed on the ground next to me.
I leaned against the wall.
I didn't know if there was a time limit for staying in this part of the dungeon so I couldn't get too comfortable.
'I better hurry..'
I took a bite into the bread.
It tasted very bland and plain.
To be honest, cardboard would've been no different from this.
"Ugh, who had the idea of giving this after the tutorial..?"
I wanted to complain but I needed to endure since I was barely anywhere near as close to completing the dungeon.
I finished the bread and began drinking water.
I realized that I was far faster eating the food than usual.
Maybe this was a game function?
'How useful..'
I get up and scan my surroundings again.
My feet stepped forwards continuously and I found the entrance to the next part of the dungeon.
There was a giant door with a fancy design in front of me.
"What an interesting design."
The layout of the man-made dungeon was different to a normal dungeon.
'In a normal dungeon, there are usually two parts—the usual monsters with a few strong variants and the boss monster.'
But this was different.
There were different areas and the 'monsters' I had encountered so far were all advanced manikins.
"Anyways.."
I needed to focus on the rest of the dungeon because I didn't want to run out of time.
I press my hand against the door with minimal weight.
Creak!—
The loud sound echoed throughout the massive cave.
The door finally fully opened and I walked through.
Only this time, the levels which I expected,
Click.
Were through the roof.
"You just have to make it hell, don't you?"
I slightly chuckled at the number of manikins there were nervously.
Possibly as a way to help calm my nerves.
'There are twenty this time??'
Usually, the difficulty progresses as you go through the dungeon at a steady rate.
But this?
"Ha."
Forget it.
I stretched my muscles slightly.
My mana had recovered till the eighty percent mark.
I didn't know what monsters all these manikins would turn into this time,
But I did know that the surroundings were completely different.
'This place is far bigger than before..'
I needed to use this to my advantage against the large numbers.
Shwoooo!—
The wind was created as half the manikins charged at me.
I leapt to another direction and allowed the wooden objects to follow me.
There were giant stone pillars, dark tunnels and large puddles of water in the environment.
It truly felt like I was in a deep underground cave.
I needed to think of how to use this well..
—But.
Slit!—
"Dammit.."
I felt one manikin come from my front and cut my ear.
I luckily managed to dodge without dealing with serious injuries.
My spear resounded the wind and thrust the manikins face.
The metal head completely pierced through.
'I guess my proficiency has increased quite a bit..'
A leer appeared on my face as I swung around the pillar to confuse the mobile objects.
While they were following my direction in crowds,
Bzzztt!—
「 Lightning Bolt lvl.1 activated. 」
「 The skill named 'Lightning Bolt' has leveled up. 」
Boom!
A large portion of the manikins were burnt by the lightning bolt.
It travelled once in a swift motion but caused a lot of damage.
I stopped swinging and continued escaping the manikins.
'Nice..'
My head turned behind me as I saw only almost two thirds of the manikins stalking my tail.
"But it's not over yet!"
I shouted before entering another darker tunnel.
「 Lightning Manipulation lvl.2 activated. 」
Crack-Buzzzz!—
The purple dangerous force broke the top of the tunnel stones.
Fall—
The rocks tumbled to the floor, blocking the path between me and the manikins.
"Got you."
