Something New?

Changing days, natural weather that has not changed. But still with the same atmosphere and the same sheet, a group of people was talking in the Imperial courtyard after finishing their training. The laughter that was heard added to the pleasant impression, of the snacks they got as gifts.

"Isn't His Highness on business out of town?" A prince asked as he straightened his sitting position.

A black haired princess leaned her back against one of the trees in the courtyard.

"The Emperor always has business out of town every week, right?" Said Garnetta, Princess of the Rattar Kingdom.

"That's right, I can't believe he still has that face and body that fit, even though he often travels out of town." Prince Ephzard of the Ghafla Kingdom replied to Garnetta's words.

It's different from the brown group who are also talking in a circle. But their eyes didn't stop on the leader of the yellow group who was cleaning her sword.

"Look at that arrogant face, what's so attractive about that girl?" Said Eletha who was staring intently at the gray haired girl.

The girl sitting behind her nodded. "I don't like seeing her behavior during training, especially when she always wins in battle," she muttered as she hugged Eletha's neck.

"Isn't that because you guys are too weak?"

Hearing the retorts of a boy made the twins turn their heads together. Then the Prince who was leaning with the palm of his hand as a restraint.

One eyebrow raised. "I always speak the truth, right?" He grinned at the end.

Seeing the Prince's scornful gaze made Ericilia turn her sister's face away from the perverted Prince's gaze.

"Don't look at his face, Eletha." She said caution.

The light brown haired prince made a gloomy face, "I'm always wrong."

"Why are you three arguing just because of that bitch?"

The voice that made the three turn around came from a girl who was watching the man who was talking with the Knights.

"You finally spoke, Princess Anette." Said Cedyrus, Prince of the Kingdom of Vadyel.

Eletha and Ericilia only giggled after hearing Anette's words directed at the gray haired girl, who was none other than Crown Princess Qavec.

"Princess Anette never gives mercy when she speaks," Eletha laughed until her face lifted.

Anette who heard, laughed sarcastically. "Am I not right? She is just a bitch hanging around Prince Clovis," she continued condescendingly.

"Who's the bitch you're talking about?"

The intimidating sound and eerie aura surrounding them took their breath away. Moreover, Anette was speechless after hearing a boy's deep voice coming from right behind her.

"Repeat what you said, Princess Anette."

But Anette could only gulp her spit roughly, moreover, the boy's silhouette covered her body. Slowly that girl's face turned to look back, staring at a flat face, but she thought it was scary.

"I have nothing to say, Prince Zavei," she replied nervously.

Meanwhile, the boy wearing a blue cloth on his right arm only watched Anette's face as she raised her head. Then Zavei lowered his body, matching Anette's body which was sitting. His hand went to the chin of the girl in front of him, clamped Anette's chin, and lifted it so that the girl was looking at him.

"If you say anything bad about my Sister, I will finish you off." Zavei flung his hand from Anette's chin.

"Got it?" He said with a sharp gaze.

Anette quickly nodded, for some reason she couldn't deny Zavei's words.

"Damn kid."

Anette gritted her teeth while watching Zavei's body walking towards his Sister who was sharpening a sword. Eletha, Ericilia, and Cedyrus, who saw Anette's annoyed face, could only remain silent. Moreover, they couldn't help Princess Anette, because they had to face a student who was ranked first in the Imperial Academy.

"If it's his Sister I can still fight because she is very stupid, but when it comes to Prince Zavei. I can't do anything," Cedyrus shrugged his shoulders.

Eletha and Ericilia nodded simultaneously, "Prince Cedyrus is right, Prince Zavei can't be doubted."

In contrast to Anette's reaction, that girl made an annoyed face remembering how Zavei's sharp gaze intimidated her.

"We will see," she muttered.

"Sis, when did you finish taking care of your sword?"

The caramel haired boy looked bored at his Sister who was still cleaning her sharp sword.

"I don't want to let my sword dull, Zavei."

While the guy snorted in annoyance, how could he not? It's been almost 10 minutes he was waiting for his Sister to eat, but she's not eating just because of sharpening her sword and cleaning her sword. Zavei's eyes glanced at a man who had been talking with the Knights all along.

His lips smirked. "If you don't eat, I'll report to Prince Clovis."

Elie looked sarcastically at Zavei who was smiling teasingly at her. "Do you want to taste my sword, Zavei?" She offered.

Zavei shook his head, "Eat or I'll break that sword, Sis." He said flatly.

Seeing the seriousness in Zavei's gaze made her sigh. Her hand took the bread that was in her Brother's hand, glancing at Zavei's face, who kept watching her.

"Thank you, Zavei." She said smiling forced.

Zavei nodded, "Eat a lot, Princess Elie."

While Elie was eating her bread, someone sat beside her without the girl noticing. The attention of the braided white haired man turned to Elie's sword which was leaning on the rock.

"You took good care of her, Princess Elie."

𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡!

Elie's amber eyes turned to the man sitting casually beside her. Her face blanked after noticing the white color of the hair of the man beside her.

How did this man suddenly appear? Elie thought wiping her lips.

Elie's smile looked confused. "How did you come here suddenly, Prince Zameev?" She asks.

Meanwhile, Zameev only put on a blank face that looked empty in Elie's eyes.

"I'm just bored," short reply.

Elie and Zavei looked at each other, then Zavei looked at Zameev who was playing with Elie's iron sword.

"I have never felt your manna, did you do something to your manna, Prince Zameev?" Zavei asked.

Zameev's ruby eyes glanced at Zavei, silent for a long time in thought. "Is that so? I don't think so," he replied.

Not only was Elie irritated, but Zavei who was talking to him was also provoked.

Is this guy a stone? Zavei thought indignantly.

"Elie!"

When the three people were gathered, the sound of a man shouting Elie's name made the three faces turn together.

Huh?

The man thought while taking turns looking at the faces of the three people who turned simultaneously. Elie turned her face, and she quickly finished the bread in her hand, without leaving a bit of it. Then her face turned again with the rest of the bread still in her mouth.

"Yash Prinhce Clohvis?" She replied with a mouth still filled with bread.

Seeing Elie's cheeks puffed up because of the bread in that girl's mouth, his lips couldn't hold back a smile.

"Finish the bread in your mouth first, Elie." He said while walking closer to the three people.

Elie nodded, "Okhay, Prinhce," she answered while chewing.

When Clovis's body was standing in front of her, Elie had finished finishing off the bread in her mouth. As soon as he saw Elie smiling at him, Clovis lowered his body and saw Elie's confused face.

Clovis raised his hand, pointing his fingers at the top of the girl's head in front of him.

He ruffled Elie's gray hair. "There's something I want to talk to you," he said.

Elie tilted her head a bit, "What do you want to talk about, Prince Clovis?" She asked.

Clovis glanced at the two youths who were looking at him questioningly.

"Is it okay for me to say it here?" He asked.

"Is it something important and secret?" Elie was wary.

Clovis cleared his throat. "Not really, but this needs to be discussed directly," he says.

Elie stood up from her seat, "Then we should find a place."

But before she could move, a hand stopped her. Elie's face lowered, looking confused at the man who was holding her hand.

"What's going on, Prince?"

But suddenly, Prince Clovis kissed the back of Elie's hand long enough for the attention of the Princes and Princesses to turn towards them. Elie touched Clovis's arm, she didn't want people to see an Emperor's Son kneeling beneath her.

"Come on get up, Prince," she said, her gaze looked worried

Not getting a reply, Elie lowered her body again, she wanted to see what happened to her Prince.

"Why are you-"

Elie was pensive as a ring was placed on her middle finger, a silver ring with gray diamonds.

Clovis stared into Elie's amber eyes. "I want to give you this, Elie," he said.

Elie was silent with her lips trembling, her amber beads watching the man's face in front of her with tears that had been contained.

"What are you doing, Prince?" She asked while looking down.

Clovis looked at the top of Elie's head, the gray hair that represented the diamond on the girl's ring.

"Be mine, Elie," he said while touching his forehead to the girl's hair in front of him.

The ring that connected her delicate finger was covered with fallen leaves. Not many people were able to witness this, only the two of them knew that Clovis had bound Elie.
