Chapter Two Shots

Three gunshots ring out and screams follow shortly. A class pours out into the hallway and right to a nearby door Damian follows behind them but when he gets to the door he hears it again "Save them, you must save them." He turns around to face the hallway then back to the class running away. "Why am I actually thinking I can help? I'm just going to get shot. I can't do anything." As he fights with himself he feels his gun in his belt. He goes to grab it but hears a class screaming. Then a few shots fly out, he runs to see what's happening.

When he gets to the class he sees a man dressed in all black pointing a gun at the class with his back turned to him "Anymore heroes? No then you will all follow me to the gymnasium. Anyone tries anything funny and you'll end up like this guy" He kicks the teacher who is dead on the floor. Damian looks at the class, the panic in their faces shows he has to do something now. "I have to act now, who knows what they're going to do in the gym. All i have to do is tackle him, easy" He sneaks up behind the guy and the class watches Damian sneak. The shooter sees them watching something so he turns around but Damian is quick, he grabs the gun by the barrel and stock and kicks the guy in the stomach. Damian aims the gun at the shooter as the class runs out of the room.

He aims the gun at the shooter's head "What do i do? Do I shoot or what? If I leave him there's no telling what this guy can do." At that moment the woman dressed in all black walks from behind Damian. She lifts the gun a bit higher and closer to the guy's head. " Kill him. You must kill him and everyone else who stands in your way. The first one is the worst but it gets better. The more you kill the easier it will be. Do it." She walks and places her chin on Damian's shoulder. He panics and shakes the shooter moves a little and Damian shot, killing him on the spot.

"Good job, now the next one will be easier" The woman in black says as she walks out of the room. Damian falls to his knees "What have I done? I killed a man. I took a life" He starts throwing up. "I have to keep moving. I have to save my mother." he stands up looking at the body before he walks away. As he enters the hallway he sees a bunch of kids being led up the steps "They must be going to the gym. I don't want to see what's waiting up there." Once the group passes he quickly makes his way down the hall. Still holding his first victim's weapon he stops at another and sees a teacher pleading for his life. Damian aims his weapon high."This one is all you" The woman in black voices says from in his head. Damian shoots, killing the man quickly. Damian holds his stomach trying no to throw up again, when the class he just saved starts to walk out. Damian points to a door "Hurry leave why it's safe. Quickly now" the class runs down the hall but the teacher stops in front of Damian.

"Thanks, kid. I didn't think you had it in you to help someone other than yourself. But I was wrong" He placed his hand on Damian's shoulder." Are you coming?" Damian looks at him but slowly starts walking back "i have to save my mom" the teacher watches Damian walk away but then slowly turns around and walks out the door.

Damian makes his way to the office. It's covered in blood and all the windows are shattered. As Damian walks inside and body's cover the floor. He walks in the principal's office and his parents lay dead on the floor. He falls to the floor and grabs his mother and holds her "I wasn't fast enough, im sorry mom" He grabs her tight and just cries. "This is the doing of a man named Roman. He is in the Gym. Go strike your revenge" The lady dressed in black says as she sits on the desk. Damian looks at her then back at his mom. He places her down and picks up the gun. Without a word he walks to the Gym. Tiers still fall from his eyes as he gets outside the gym.

He peeks his head inside and sees all the kids sitting down as a group of six men stand over them. The leader stands in the center "Today is your lucky day everyone. Today you have the pleasure of becoming a part of something bigger than yourselves. Today some of you will be taken to work and some will not leave this gym." Roman then turns to his men "I lost contact with some men. I need a few of you to go find them. Make sure plan B doesn't fail." four out of the six men leave the Gym and now wander the halls.

Damian Watches as they leave "You must not fail, you have to save them all" the woman in white says as she appears from thin air. "Not like I'm planning on it" Damian says as he takes aim. He begins shooting and misses almost every shot. Only hitting one of the armed men. "Kill whoever did that" Roman yells. The only man he had left in the gym starts to charge at Damian with no bullets left in his gun; he throws it down and tries to escape to the hallway. But runs into one of the shooters.

They both fall to the floor and the shooter's gun slides away. Damian tries to grab it but his foot is grabbed and he is pulled back. The shooter flips Damian on his back and starts punching him in the face. Being physically bigger, Damian was able to push the guy off and kick him back. Reaching for the gun again the shooter grabs Damian's foot again and starts dragging him closer to the gym. Why being pulled, his shirt slides up showing his pistol he had tucked away. Damian grabs the pistol and unloads five shots into the man. He drops down and Damian quickly climbs to his feet and runs into a class. The man who came from the gym starts shooting the door to the class Damian went in.

Damian runs to the back of the class and out of the other door and unloads four shots from his pistol and misses two of them. The man turns in anger and shoots a line of bullets down the wall and at Damian. Damian gets shot in his right hand and drops his pistol. He quickly moves away from the door. "COME OUT HERE NOW YOU SON OF A BITCH" The Shooter yells. Damian crawls to the door where the shooter is. He then takes his shirt and rips the sleeve off and wraps his hand. He looks around for anything. He sees a chalkboard eraser "think, come on think. What can I do?" he thinks to himself before an idea comes to him. He grabs the eraser and throws it down at the back classroom door. Hoping the shooter turns.

He grabs throws it and hears the man start shooting at the door. Damian flings the door open and bullrushes the man. The man slams to the floor but his gun is tied to him. Damian saw this and panicked. He jumps on the man and starts slamming his fist into the man's face. The man tries to fight back, Normally Damian would be able to overpower but with his right hand damage he couldn't hit hard with that hand. It was enough for the shooter to overpower Damian. He kicks Damian off and goes to aim his gun, but Damian kicks it into the guy's face. He then jumps down and grabs the barrel of the gun and forces under the man's chin and pulls the trigger.

Damian grabs the gun off the body and gets to his feet. "I'm so tired, I think I'm at my limit for today. I have to end this quickly.'' Just as those thoughts left his head, gunshots rang down from the hall. Damian jumps into the classroom and takes cover. The shooter runs down the hall and steps in front of the door. Damian kicks the door down and it falls down on top of the shooter. Damian then just empties his mag into the door, killing the man.

Damian moves the door and grabs the gun off the guy.*cough* Cough* Cough* "I just have to save the kids in the gym now. One more guy"
