Chapter 1; Su You Qing, you are back....

"Ladies and gentlemen, Fly Emirates welcomes you to Beijing International Airport. The local time is 02:00 pm. For your safety and the safety of those around you, please remain seated with your seatbelt fastened and keep the aisle clear until we are parked at the gate... Have a lovely afternoon...."

That announcement from a feminine, soft, and mellow voice, woke her up from her sleep, it's been more than fourteen hours since she embarked on her journey from States back home, and all she could do was sleep.

She gently rubbed her eyes and gazed outside through the window panel as she occupied a seat next to the window and gazed outside. She could see the plane landing and others flying out, the place had developed and gotten better than she had left it.

Because of sleeping, her hair was a mess, she ran her long thin fingers through the thick mane combing it down to her waist as she had let it loose cascading down her back.

After the plane had parked, the door was opened and passengers began disembarking, they alighted as she walked over to the clearance counter to clear first.

"Hello good afternoon, my name is Su You Qing, I want to clear..." She introduced herself respectfully while keeping eye contact.

"Hello Miss Su You Qing, can I see your papers and passports?" The clearance clerk at the counter eyed her, she looked like any other half-cast child with Spanish genes, and her ocean blue eyes stood out against the black long-waisted curled hair.

She warmly gazed at him holding her handbag with her left hand, "Which papers do you wish to see Mr, I have several papers for different nationalities and both their passports and visas are valid..." Her voice was soft and mellow, firstly, she didn't know if she was still recognized as a family member of the Su family nor did she know whether she was listed in the genealogical book.

"Are you a Chinese citizen?" He queried eying her as he typed across the keyboard seemingly looking for some details on the computer. He didn't need to gaze at her twice to know she wasn't originally Chinese, she was of a mixed race.

"Yeah..." She produced her documents showing that she was a Chinese citizen and from the Su family, these papers had been originally given to her by her father when she left, even though it has been more than ten years, her memories were still fresh, and she could still recall everything.

"I'm sorry, these documents don't match with what we have in the system, and then your documents were invalidated many years ago..." He returned the papers to her and she got her Spanish documents and filed them as a foreigner on a tourist visa for three months.

She had come prepared and knew the urgency of getting into the country.

"All right Miss, here you have your papers, enjoy your stay here..." He gave her papers back as she received them and politely nodded at him before strolling away, but her heart was boiling with anger.

Why did it mean that her papers were invalidated? Did they deny her rights as a Chinese citizen? Or were they plotting something behind her back? She smirked getting over to the exit and picked up her huge suitcase before dragging it away to the parking lot.

She held her handbag and calmed down, now it meant, she might be in trouble sooner or later, if she hadn't used her Spanish documents to file for a tourist visa, she would have been denied entry and deported back.

"Haha..." She softly giggled, did they think that she was still a ten-year-old naive girl? She couldn't understand what they could have gained from all that.

She walked over to a taxi cab and approached the driver, "Hello, can you take me to Eleventh Level District..." She politely requested eying the middle-aged man who was leaning on his regular Toyota Corolla.

"Okay..." He roughly hummed as he got her luggage suitcase and placed them inside the car boot while she occupied the passenger seat. she calmed down and fastened her safety belt.

It's been more than ten years and a lot had changed, it had developed and she could see how the streets were clean... expanded roads and highways.

After a twenty minutes ride, they arrived at the gate and the taxi driver stopped the engine while she alighted and got her suitcase.

"Here it's...." She gave him a fifty-dollar note before getting her suitcase and ringing the bell at the gate.

The guard gazed through the camera and saw it was their Young Miss, he was surprised and immediately opened the gate.

"Welcome home Miss..." He politely greeted her and assisting her in getting her suitcase inside the compound.

"Thank you..." She held the suitcase handles and dragged it away through the pavement, this old mansion looked brand new and they must have renovated it.

It looked much better and huge, the flowers were in the blooming season. She strode over to the entrance door and she exhaled loudly from dragging the suitcase.

She stood up straightening her back before shaking her hands roughly, they were aching and tired from that dragging, she hadn't thought that she would be back to this place after ten years.

"It's been ten years, ten good years!" she inwardly mumbled gazing around aimlessly, nothing of her memories could she recall anything inside the building, everything was new.
