"They aren't around, they moved out... It's me and you now here, I don't know if they would ever come back..." They got to the bedroom and he wheeled her to the bed.
He picked her up and placed her on the bed sitting up, he dragged the covers closer and covered her legs. He scrutinized her for a minute before switching the television on, even if she couldn't see, she could still hear.
"Thank you..." She was honestly grateful even though it sounded so perfunctorily.
"Okay, get some rest... There will be guards at the door and will get inside if you call them over in case you need anything...." He bent over and pecked her left cheek before strolling away.
He walked out and closed the door, instructing the guards, and went upstairs taking his helicopter and leaving the White House.
Hearing the rumbles echoing on the rooftop, she was certain that he had left, she immediately placed her fore-front fingers on her wrist pressing on the vein and checking her pulse.
