ARRAN’S POV
I felt embarrassed asking Killian about Maurice Nemesio. God knows where I got the guts to even utter such embarrassing words. The grin from Vance did not help either. I rushed to my room and slammed the door.
The week rushed by and I avoided Maurice's presence. I was scared that shameless Killian might have blurted out and told him about the questions posed to him. The embarrassment had been haunting me and I decided to sleep in on the weekend.
“Arran, I am leaving,” Vance shouted from the door.
“The door is unlocked, Vance. Why do you have to yell from the other side?” I snapped.
I heard him laughing as I listened to the main apartment door being locked. The quietness of the apartment was an announcement loud enough for me to know that Vance had left.
I huffed and opened my eyes contemplating what to do next and then the door of the bedroom opened. The smell of a familiar cologne made my body tremble as I watched Maurice Nemesio stride directly to my bed.
