Chapter 26: They Don't Work

For the rest of the week we spent every hour together. It was either him teasing me or me teasing him and made our parents laugh. He had to break away from me cause his father wanted to talk to him for a few hours, but then we were right back at it.

He had taken me shopping but I wasn't really a shopping type. There wasn't anything I wanted so he had gotten me a necklace with a small heart ruby on it. Silver since I was allergic to gold around the neck. I had picked out a gold refillable pen so that when he does his work, he had me there helping. He had called me a romantic and only made me blush in front of the saleswomen who chuckled.

It wasn't long that the second came around and we said our goodbyes. He had also used that week to show me how to block out other people in the area so that I wouldn't be as sensitive.
