Daisy finally wakes up, nauseous. She can’t see anything and barely breathes. Her hands are static as well, she can’t feel anything, other than the feeling that she is locked. She hears a few steps next to her and calms herself down. The universal rule is that showing panic is an invitation for a predator to come and have a banquet.


So, Daisy kept still and quiet for a few seconds. She could only hear the footsteps, her breathing more and more controlled, and her accelerated heartbeat, which could be felt in every cell of her body. Even though she couldn’t see, she tried to follow in the footsteps with her eyes. They were close. And getting closer… Until they stopped.
