Daisy Zane loved wearing dresses, and later on... all of Kevin Clark's shirt buttons matched the colors of her dresses.
So far, I'm actually liking this. Though the Female Lead is has a cool persona, she's not unnecessarily arrogant. She's NOT the "I'm-an-independent-woman-I-can-do- everything-by-myself-without-your-help type" which I totally favor. She might be able to do a lot by herself but she doesn't mind getting assistance too. I like the ML too. He shows that he favors her in his actions but still remains respectful. I hope this is chosen.
For those who are interested, this is the raws: 大佬的影后夫人她又美又飒 I wasn't looking for it, I just stumbled upon it while organizing my raws, so enjoy!!! [img=recommend]
The Translator should keep the original Chinese names - they are more elegant than the "westernised" names... and would also prevent the frustration of the characters being given multiple names that is causing so much confusion (it's as if there are different Translators translating the same material and being combined at once and they can't get it straight!). Such a disappointment for a story that is quite interesting.
The story is intriguing and suspenseful. But, why can’t the characters have just one name. It gets confusing. Arthur North is used for at least 3 different characters. Why? Pick one name and use only that name please.
Why each of the characters has 2 or 3 names: Daisy, Lucia. And Robinson Scott is a man or a women?
I am really enjoying the story very much. The FL is strong and ML is already in love with her wanting to support her all the time . looking forward to reading more
The storyline isn’t bad, but the FL already has four or five different names. The male lead at least has 3 and his assistants changed names to Michael Jackson😂😂 if you cant get disturbed by this and want a fun game of “how many names does Daisy Clark have”, then read the book. Else, dont try it. it will give you a headache. The characters are actually nice. No overbearing ML or FL, friends look solid.
Great story, BUT the translation has a few HUGE flaws. Everyone is constantly changing from he to she and vise versa. which I can tolerate if I pay more attention while reading. But what is driving crazy is that every character so far has had their names constantly changing. Take the female lead, for example. She starts off as Daisy Zane, then they call her Lucia, then she's being called Olivia Brown! Great story, not so great translation. I hope it gets better.
The story was a fun and exciting read. The FL and ML we’re so cute together and the trials they had to go through made the story exciting.
If you're going to change the names, remember in English you mostly only use the first name, and try to keep the names straight.
Im loving this novel so far! Highly recommend!! Hopefully this one gets picked🙏🥹🥰
Interesting story so far however translation is spotty making it a challenging read. Characters genders keeps changing, often in the same paragraph going from he to she. Male leads name has been changed three times in 20 chapters.
I started reading this story and enjoyed it at first but now I’m dropping it. While I am able to overlook the incorrect use of pronouns for the most part, the inconsistencies regarding the characters names is off putting. I would rather have the translator spend more time editing their work than to waste time on thinking up westernized names.
this story would be great if the author used the same pronouns for the characters. also the FL for some reason has 3 different names. now I know she can have multiple identities but that is not how you write them. it's confusing
It would be best if you edit the paragraph lines. All the dialogue and sentences mixed up. It would be best if you edit the paragraph lines. All the dialogue and sentences mixed up. It would be best if you edit the paragraph lines. All the dialogue and sentences mixed up.
