Most of the early chapters are 2000+ words per chapter, cuz the pacing is kind of slow.

Crimsoux: The Supreme Species

"Whoo!" Buster grinned as he looked ahead while grabbing hold of his fluttering red and golden coloured scarf. Behind him, also flying through the air were five other people. Although they weren't really flying, but jumping really high.

"We wouldn't have had to rush in like this if we'd come earlier." Alya said jumping behind him as they headed for an open space in the forest with other people in it.

Buster turned his head to look at her with his characteristic smile as he answered. "Come on Alya, you know we had to go get the rest."

"Yeah girl. Don't be naggy." One of their teammates said as he instead laid relaxed on the back of a golden phoenix like creature.

They all landed not too far away from their destination. And looking at all the nature themed decorations, floating lights and the people that were already there, they knew that they were without a doubt, late.

Nebula rushed ahead of them excitedly.
