Luca's POV:
After the banquet started in the main hall and I made my announcement, I decided to go in the balcony an be alone for a moment. The town decided to do a banquet as a welcome party for me. To be honest, I don't even know what to expect to myself. I lack training in magic and I can't seem to grasp the fundamentals of becoming a god. Yet for every man, woman and children of all races celebrating at the announcement, the Death's Liberty, a town that has seen tragedy and amnesty, is now clamoring with joy and laughter. I can't help but look at the shining moon, gracing us with its ice cold stare. Remembering my real mother, I asked myself, "Do I really have what it takes to lead this people into peace? Am I not just blinded by my destiny? Should I just go with the world's fate or make my own?"
Ebony stood up besides me. I just can't help but to notice how she pretty she looked that night. The moonlight pierces her delicate skin, like giving a spotlight to her.
