Blood Remembers

Chapter 19: Blood Remembers

Elijah’s POV

The sky bled silver.

Elijah sat alone on the craggy outcrop near the border of the Lone Moon Pack, his breath fogging in the cool morning air. The land stretched wide below him, pine forests rolling like dark waves, and far beyond, a flicker of light that had not been there the day before. A soft white dome, faint but pulsing, hovered over a distant peak.

The Moon Temple had awakened.

He didn’t know how he knew. He just did. The bond in his blood throbbed with ancient recognition, a hum older than his name, older than this body. It vibrated deep in his chest like a second heartbeat. The blood of his mother tickled withlightness, something was different inside him, he could feel it and he knew it was not his wolf.
