Chapter 18: Timeskip

A few months had passed since Xavier and Leah's first date at the theme park. Xavier had undergone a transformation, shedding its cloak of mist and melancholy as spring blossomed into summer. Streets once shrouded in shadows now basked in the warm embrace of sunlight, and the laughter of children echoed through the air.

Xavier's studio had become a haven of creativity, filled with vibrant canvases that breathed life into his emotions. With Leah as his muse, his art had taken on a new dimension, capturing the ebb and flow of love, passion, and longing.

Their relationship had deepened, each shared moment reinforcing the bond between them. Their conversations had evolved into a dance of shared dreams and whispered confessions, and Xavier found himself falling for Leah in ways he hadn't thought possible.

One lazy afternoon, Xavier and Leah sat on a blanket beneath the shade of a sprawling oak tree. The gentle rustling of leaves and the distant hum of the town created a tranquil backdrop to their picnic.

"You know, Leah," Xavier mused, his gaze fixed on the sun-dappled meadow, "it's funny how life can surprise us. A few months ago, I was lost in the sea of my own thoughts, and now… now I have you."

Leah's eyes sparkled with affection as she reached for his hand. "Life has a way of weaving its own magic, doesn't it? I've cherished every moment we've shared, Xavier."

He smiled, his heart swelling with emotion. "And I've cherished them too. You've brought light to the corners of my world that I never thought would see the sun."

As they gazed at the horizon, Xavier felt a sense of contentment wash over him. He had found solace in Leah's presence, and together they had created a haven where their love flourished.

Yet, as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a tapestry of colors across the sky, a fleeting thought crossed Xavier's mind. He wondered about the enigmatic figure who had once sat on a weathered bench in the park – the woman who had captured his heart with a touch and a smile.

In that moment, doubt flickered like a distant star, but Xavier quickly brushed it aside. He chose to embrace the love he had found, to revel in the joy that Leah brought into his life.

As night embraced the town, Xavier and Leah lay on the blanket, fingers entwined, gazing at the stars that shimmered above them. In the quiet of the evening, their hearts beat in harmony, united by a love that had weathered doubts and uncertainties, blossoming like the flowers that painted the landscape around them.

But the answer to his question, was never answered. Xavier started researching about Leah, but he couldn't find anything. Her origin, where she was born, nothing it was like she actually never existed and is just an illusion.

Xavier is also suspicious because secrets he has never revealed to Leah suddenly was brought to light by her. Something isn't right and he will get on the case of what and who is "Leah".
