"Where are you headed?" Before Chen Xiao could say anything, Knife rushed off.

Seeing this, Chen Xiao was concerned about potential accidents and quickly hopped onto the back of Knife's bicycle.

On that day, Zhou Quan and his technicians were in another internet cafe in Jiangcheng, busy with computer maintenance. Upon learning that a new internet cafe had recently opened, they rushed over. The purpose was twofold: to explore potential repair and maintenance business prospects and to promote their plug-ins.

Knife and his group left their bicycles by the roadside and entered the internet cafe.

Kaixuan Internet Cafe was running a summer promotion, charging only one yuan per hour, with a ten yuan recharge bonus for every two yuan spent.

"How many of you are here to use the internet?" The cafe owner, a genial middle-aged man with a smiling Buddha-like countenance, inquired.

Daozi disregarded the owner and spotted Zhou Quan standing nearby.

Given that Knife had already informed Chen Xiao about Zhou Quan's ungratefulness and plagiarism, Chen Xiao wasn't surprised. Upon entering the cafe, he quietly observed many "Legend" players utilizing different plug-ins.

Knife's reaction upon seeing Zhou Quan was emotionally charged, "Zhou Quan, what the hell is this! I treated you as a friend, introduced you to my buddies, and you had the audacity to steal Chen Xiao's plug-in, turn it into your own, and kick us all out to make your own money!"

However, in Chen Xiao's opinion, their differing social statuses and economic conditions prevented genuine friendship between the two. Zhou Quan had used Knife's help when he needed assistance in moving computers and unloading goods, but he regarded Knife as a tool rather than a friend.

With such differing backgrounds, it was impossible for them to be true friends.

Unaware of these dynamics, Knife was indignant that Zhou Quan had ignored him. He pushed Zhou Quan forward, exclaiming, "What do you mean? You reap the benefits and then turn your back on us?"

"What's going on here?" Zhou Quan had also brought some people along. Seeing Knife's aggressive approach, they immediately surrounded him. "Get lost!"

The people who dabbled in pirated CD businesses at the computer market, operating in the gray area, were often hot-headed and lacked sound judgment.

Impatient, Zhou Quan said, "I'll pay your wages. Why are you causing trouble?"

"I don't give a damn!" Knife was incensed. Hearing that Zhou Quan not only refused to acknowledge his actions but also slandered him, he lunged with his fists.

Knife's comrades also joined in, resulting in a brawl right at the entrance of the internet cafe.

Online noodles who spent their days consuming instant food and browsing the web weren't a match for adults in a physical confrontation.

Amidst the chaos, the cafe owner, bewildered by the situation, called the police while attempting to mediate.

Chen Xiao seized the phone, saying, "I'm calling the police! There's a group selling explicit content CDs at the entrance of Kaixuan Internet Cafe. Upon being caught, they started a fight out of embarrassment."

"Alright! We'll dispatch the police immediately!"

"Hey! You, you, you!!" The plump cafe owner stammered.

After Chen Xiao hung up, he shrugged. In a lawful society, problems couldn't be resolved with violence.

The police response might be slower for a fight or pirated CDs. However, it would be faster for explicit content, especially since Jiangcheng was striving to become a civilized city, cracking down on obscenity and illegality.

Indeed, within a couple of minutes, police officers arrived.

Seeing the police car, neither party dared to continue their fight.

"Who called the police?"

Chen Xiao responded, "I did. They were selling explicit content and pirated games at the entrance of Kaixuan Internet Cafe. When discovered, they resorted to violence."

The plump cafe owner coughed several times. Chen Xiao was inventing lies on the spot without any hesitation.

Zhou Quan was shocked. He hadn't anticipated that Chen Xiao would bring up explicit content. He tried to intervene by handing a pack of cigarettes to one of the police officers. "It's all a misunderstanding, just a minor quarrel. Nothing serious."

"Don't try that with me!" The officer, firm in law enforcement, retorted. "Search him."

His colleague swiftly searched Zhou Quan and his group, finding a bag Zhou Quan was carrying.

Zhou Quan's face turned pale.

He had been visiting an internet cafe to provide computer maintenance and game installations. Apart from his repair tools, the bag contained various pirated game software and explicit content discs.

Internet cafes had an unwritten rule: games and explicit content were essential for good business. Legitimate games were rare, and explicit content movies were usually hidden from view.

Zhou Quan, being in the internet cafe installation and maintenance business, often carried such DVDs with him.

Standalone pirated games weren't a significant issue since genuine versions weren't readily available.

However, the explicit content DVDs were an entirely different matter. At first glance, they appeared to be imported from Hong Kong or Taiwan.

"What's this?" Officer JC inquired, holding the evidence in his hand. Zhou Quan was speechless, his face drained of color.

Chen Xiao contributed, "The internet cafe owner noticed these people behaving suspiciously, and when he confronted them, they resorted to violence."

The situation was crystal clear. Chen Xiao and his companions had taken notes of everything happening at the scene.

Even the internet cafe owner's computer contained some evidence not immediately apparent.

Zhou Quan and his group were taken away.

Before leaving, Zhou Quan cast a venomous glance at Chen Xiao, who simply looked at the sky.

The plump cafe owner, named Deng Liwen, expressed his gratitude to Chen Xiao. "Thank you! Do you use the internet? You're welcome to use it here anytime."

He even handed over a business card to Chen Xiao with his contact information.

Daozi and the others were embarrassed. They now realized their rashness and the dangers of their impulsive actions. If Chen Xiao hadn't called the police, they could have ended up in much worse trouble.

The group was detained for several days due to their actions.

Shifting to business, Chen Xiao asked, "Is this your new venture? I'm curious how you manage customers' internet access time."

Boss Deng responded, "What else can we do? We note their boarding time and the time they start using the internet. When their time is up, we remind them to 'disembark.' Every internet cafe follows a similar practice."

Chen Xiao inquired further, "What if you're busy and make a mistake, or if someone sneaks in and uses the internet without you noticing?"

Deng Liwen nodded, acknowledging that such situations occurred frequently. "It's a common problem. I was thinking of hiring a network administrator to keep an eye on things. We'd take shifts to watch over the cafe day and night."

Chen Xiao suggested, "Have you considered that internet cafe computers can be installed with management programs? These programs can automatically log users off when their time is up. Additionally, they can manage computer programs and game software, preventing users from deleting or altering them."

Boss Deng was intrigued, "Is that really possible?"
