Revelations and Spying? Part 2
So Kenji and Theo set up the cloning Spy that they're going to install on Tommy's cell phone, Luan is listening to the conversation and asks:
-What do you mean, Kenji? You're cloning cell phones all over the place? How do you know it'll work?
-Derick gave it to me!
Luan looks at Derick in amazement:
-Derick, what have you been doing? You didn't clone my cell phone, did you?
-How annoying of you.... I haven't cloned anything, there's nothing good on your cell phone to clone!
Luan opens his mouth, shocked, but admits it.
-Well, thinking about it that way, you're right, there are only a few photos of me and the cat.
-Kenji sends me this cloning stuff, I'm going to clone Derick's cell phone, there's probably a lot he's hiding from me!
Derick stares at him and says:
-No need, here, look!
And he hands Luan his cell phone. Luan is amazed and laughs.
-I'm going to find your poor Derick! Hi Hi
Derick is unfazed. Then Theo says:
-There's probably nothing on Luan's cell phone, he wouldn't let you tamper with it so easily.
Kenji nods, and to Luan's chagrin and disappointment, there's nothing but photos of the dog and Derick's little brother, but he does find something:
-Oops... I found something...
Derick is astonished.
"Hi, Derick, I think you're so cute, can we have lunch sometime?" ,
-Stop. There's another message...
"I think you're so cute, can we have a drink together sometime?"
Derick then quickly snatches Luan's cell phone, almost knocking him over.
-Aiii...!
- You pest, stop messing around Luan!
The entrance bell rings, and they prepare to put the plan into practice, Derick goes to his table which is behind Theo's table, and in front of Theo is Tommy's table, Andrew calls Tommy over to chat, Andrew is usually sociable with everyone, so he hardly has any problems with others, but Andrew doesn't like it when someone is mistreated or wronged, so he always defends those people, while he distracts Tommy, Theo picks up Tommy's cell phone which is on his table in disguise, Derick then gets up and disguises himself by sitting on Tommy's desk, so that Theo can install the Spy on the cell phone, it takes a few minutes to install, and the second Signal rings, Theo finishes and Derick takes Tommy's cell phone, wipes the marks on the cell phone and puts it back on Tommy's desk, everyone enters the Room, Derick checks his 2nd cell phone to confirm that it worked, all right cloned cell phone, he signals Ok to Andrew and to Theo.
Theo sees Derick's 2nd cell phone and asks:
-You have 2 cell phones Derick?
-Yes, I can't leave my cell phone so easily to that fox called Luan!
Later, after lunch, they get together for a band rehearsal, and Theo tells them that he overheard Mark and Ren talking, and ends up revealing who their Support Wizard is:
-You're not going to believe it, but I've found out who Mark's Support Wizard is, it's Mary!
Luan is drinking water and chokes:
-Cof....cof....what?
Derick is surprised by the revelation, Kenji is also incredulous, then Theo asks.
-Luan, don't you have any way of knowing if she's a mage or a sorceress, just as we descendants can recognize each other?
Luan replies:
-Not always, a Wizard can even recognize each other, but Wizards have many secrets, after all this kind of power and knowledge can't fall into the wrong hands, you need to see what degree she is, and it's very likely that she uses some enchantment too!
-But does she know that her maternal family are Wizards?
-It's likely that she does, if she's on Mark's team, she must already know that.
Derick then adds:
-They kept that information very well guarded, not even Grandpa Han knew!
Luan then thinks:
(This is very strange, but I feel uncomfortable somehow, ok that Mary can't talk, but she's always been around and in fact she hasn't been telling me everything lately, well even I can't say certain things, but she's not a Magus because surely I would know).
The rehearsal is over, and Luan and Derick go to the bike shop to pick up the bike, which is ready. The guy did some repairs, it was fine, but as he said, it wasn't going to be 100%. He takes the bike and pushes it to the grocery store and says to Derick:
-It was good, but I don't know, I still feel uncomfortable, I wanted to give it a new one actually, can we do another performance and see if we can raise some money? Because the one at the Nomination Party was all for the Student Guild Solidarity Fund.
-It was good, Luan, but I understand, let's see if we can raise something at the band's next gig.
-I've been in touch with a guy, he said he was a friend of Luke's and that he owns a few concert halls, I'll try to arrange something!
So Luan returns the bike, apologizes again, Mr. Edvan hands him his and thanks him. Luan then pushes his bike all the way home. They agree what time they will leave the house for their last training session before the Test, Grandpa Han doesn't want to overload them while Derick does his physical test, Luan needs to enchant the weapons that will be used, Derick's bow and arrow, because the arrows need to be enchanted so that the Magician can conjure the demons, i.e. send them back to the Portal, the Magician needs a Dagger with a cut to be able to mark the demons, and a Dagger without a cut for the Conjuration Ritual.
Finally the big day arrives....
