When he was 10 years old he was struck with a strange illness caused by a otherworldly beast called a Monster.

His father a low-ranking Hunter, couldn't pay for the treatment, so he turned to loan sharks. 

When he finally got better his mother took him back home to celebrate when he saw his father lying dead with a loan shark standing above him.

9 years later he found himself on a bridge, contemplating.

Until a mysterious old man approached him and gave him a unimaginable crescent power system to fight a otherworldly threat.

Will Madaren Osoki find a purpose in life, Or will he spiral into negativity?

MULTI-HOPE - CRESCENT AWAKENING

*I look back to run but the entire maze is gone and it looks like a coliseum. I look around and see crowds of people cheering and yelling. I look back and see that the ghoul has gladiator armour, and I do now*


I run as fast I can away from the ghoul, but it chases after me. 


IT'S FASTER THAN THE OTHERS, IT'LL ONLY BE A FEW SECONDS BEFORE IT CATCHES ME.


REWARD: 5 STATS POINTS TO EVERYTHING ELSE


REWARD: 20 STAT POINTS TO EVERYTHING ELSE


WHAT!! SURVIVE FOR TEN MINUTES, IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE.


BUT IT'S BETTER THAN KILLING THAT GHOUL.


*I tried to press the SURVIVE FOR 10 MINUTES but my finger slipped and I accidentally pressed KILL THE GHOUL*


SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT, AHH I HATE MYSELF WHY DID I PRESS IT.


*The ghoul tries to grab me but I dodge its hand*


Obviously I have no choice but to kill him but I'm really racking my brain trying to figure out how.


Ghoul: YOU WILL DIE JUST LIKE YOUR FATHER


I rush the ghoul and it throws another grab but I dodge that, it tries to step on me but I roll out of the way. While his leg is down I grab on and climb my way up and use the sword as an ice pick.


Madaren: I WAS GOING TO MAKE IT PAINLESS BUT YOU ASKED FOR IT.


I climb onto his head and I stab into his eyeball piercing his brain. I then swish the sword around inside to try and cause maximum damage.


Ghoul: STOP IT HUMAN, AGHH STOP IT I BEG YOU


I pause for a second. Is what I'm doing right?


Madaren: It's already too late to beg ghoul, since you already finished.


Oh shit, he's gonna fall on his back. I need to jump off.


He didn't say that about my father, he had no reason to lie at his demise.


It's probably the system trying to anger me so I can fight without fear, I mean it worked so…


Anyways I got all of my rewards and I'm alive so I need to rest now.


Crowd: HE WON!!! YEAHHH, NO ONE'S EVER WON AGAINST THE BEAST.


Is this all real? Because I'm not gonna lie, it feels really good to be praised. Now that I think of it. Ever since I awakened I felt more happy and excited, sure I almost pissed my pants more times than I can count but it feels good. 


Maybe when I return I can be a hunter and pay off all of the debt and move my mom into a bigger house since even low ranked hunters make more than most jobs.


Madaren: ALL RIGHT SYSTEM, time to go home now.


Madaren: I'M STUCK HERE AM I. OH NO IM GONNA DIE OLD IN HERE.
