The IMA has Embassies in every country on earth. In order to be a hunter. You have to go to an embassy and register. And then you take tests to evaluate your rank.
You can then be a hunter for the IMA or join or create a guild.

Madaren: Wow, it's huge.

Sophie: As you know. There are 4 main categories for a hunter.
Swordsmanship, Archery, Martial Arts and Sorcery
Sophie: We will test each starting with Archery. Aim your arrow at the target. The farther you hit and the closest you are to the red middle of the target will determine your rank in Archery. Now begin.
Archery was really never my strongest category, but I'm still damn good at it.
*I aim at the target 50 metres away and hit close to the middle of the target*
Five times and I still haven't hit the middle. I only have five seconds left. I need to at least hit A-Rank to get a big offer. For that I need to hit the farthest one.
*I enter the Tranquil State that Hentri taught me and I shoot at the 100 Meter Target.*

I only hit the white part of the target. Damn, but that is enough for an A-Rank.
Sophie: That's Amazing! Only a few people have ever hit the farthest one. The A.I is evaluating your rank.
Let's go on to the next one.
Martial Arts, For this test you will have put on a Realistic Simulation Chip or a RSC on the side of your head. Your brain will then simulate bots that you have to fight with your bare hands and they go up in difficulty each wave so pain will feel real so beware.
*A group of doctors install a chip on my temple*
[SIMULATING BOTS]

Madaren: Are we supposed to be starting on level 50?
Sophie: N-no Wh- WHO PUT IT ON LEVEL 50 SOMEONE TURN IT OFF.
[SIMULATION COMPLETE]
Sophie: That'll be like fighting 20 A-Ranks at the same time. HURRY UP AND TURN IT OFF.
I see them. They look like Mannequins. I have no choice but to fight them since my brain will simulate pain as well.
I'll just end this fight real quick.
*I rush them with [OMNIDASH] and then i use [CORPSE FIST]*
Everytime I use Corpse Fist a blast of death comes out and affects anyone in a 10 feet vicinity. Necrosis has already subdued five of them and they will be dead in 30 seconds. Now I'll just slice five more.
*Five bots charge towards me using some type of dash skill* [VULTURE SLICE]
This move cuts a chunk of flesh off of anyone in a 10 feet vicinity.
The more I use this move the more powerful it gets because it also eats the flesh off like a Vulture. I won't get flesh from simulations but they will die from bleeding out.
*The remaining ten surround me and they all use close-range martial arts towards me at the same time*
What do I do in this situation?!

Hentri: When you encounter an enemy that is swift and fights close range there is a move you should use that is an essential basic.
Tripalm Art: Close Frenzy!
There is a breathing technique to go with the move that will make your heart beat faster allowing for more blood to go through your veins and brain to allow you to move and think faster.
Madaren: Wow. You actually sounded smart for a second.
Hentri: THAT'LL 500 MORE PUSHUPS TOMORROW!
Madaren: WAIT! No, I was joking.
*Back to the present*
I will use the move you taught me, Sensei Hentri. [CLOSE FRENZY]
*I start dodging all twenty arms around me so fast I only leave aftereffects*
I have to end this.

*I place my palm on the floor and a blast of hellfire burns the bots to a crisp in seconds*

I'm finally done. They didn't even hit me once. Are they even A-Ranks?
Sophie: … WHAT THE FUCK!.

Oh shit I forgot they were here. If that doesn't make them want me I don't know what will. I mean I have way more moves. I only used the basic moves of the Tripalm Art not the Intermediate or Advanced.
Sophie: *thinking* *I have to sign this kid right damn now before any guilds find him*
???: *watching through the security cameras* I won't let you have him. He's mine.
Sophie: That was absolutely amazing! No person has ever cleared level 50 unscathed!
Madaren: Thank you.
Sophie: Turns out the A.I sensed your mana and set a difficulty it thought fitting for you which was the max difficulty. That must have meant you had a lot of mana.
Madaren: Well I don't know.
Sophie: Let's find out. Next is sorcery. There are three tests for this. One is Mana capacity, Magic affinity and Magic battle. First is mana capacity.
This 50 foot Mana Crystal here was found at a S-Ranked Dungeon. This will be used to determine how much mana you have and what magic affinities you own.
Please place your hands on the crystal.
*I place my hands on the crystal, and the crystal starts glowing purple.*
Sophie: *Gasp* That's the max it can go.
Madaren: That's it?
Sophie: What do you mean?
I'm gonna say something a bit cocky but true nonetheless so it seems like I'm stronger than this.
Madaren: I feel like it's only sensing just a part of my mana
Sophie: So you're telling you have more than this.
Madaren: I think I do?
Sophie: *Thinking* This kid is gonna shake the world with this news. He could become one of the strongest
Hunters of all time now he's definitely gonna become one of the strongest.
Sophie: N-next test. Now the crystal is in Mana Affinity mode. Put your hand on the crystal and pour your mana in.
*I do what she says and the crystal has different patches of colour on it. One is gold, the other is white, red, grey, and blue*
*Sophie drops her clipboard*
Madaren: S-sophie?
Sophie: I would like to say I'm not surprised but…
YOU HAVE AFFINITES IN THREE DIFFERENT CLASSIFICATIONS?!?!?
Madaren: I-i do?
I gotta act like I'm clueless, I don't know why but if I feel like I act cocky she's gonna hit me.
Sophie: FIRE, AIR, WATER, MOON?!?! AND REINFORCEMENT MAGIC!?!
Madaren: I can't wait to use them!
Sophie: WHAT WAS THAT MAGIC YOU USED IN THE MARTIAL ARTS ROOM.
Madaren: It was a modified version of mana. Just Reinforcement Magic.
Sophie: How do you know this stuff? Didn't you just Awaken, not even yesterday!?!
Madaren: Let's move on please.
Sophie: S-Sure whatever. *Sophie picks up her clipboard* We are going back into the RSC Room.
Ok it'll be like the martial arts one but with magic. Just use whatever magic spell comes to your mind and I hope you don't mind if we let the A.I pick the difficulty.
Madaren: Go ahead.
[SIMULATING BOTS]

Sophie: [Muttering] of course it's max difficulty
[SIMULATION COMPLETE]
Sophie: There will be 20 bots all A-Rank. 10 will possess Elemental Magic, 5 will possess Reinforcement Magic, And the remaining five will possess any random Abnormality Magic. You may only use magic.

*The Reinforcement Bots are in the back and are buffing the Elemental Bots, While they are being buffed the five Abnormality Bots rush me.*
*One bot stays behind and uses a Hate amplifier spell on the other four*
Why would he use his Hate Magic on the others?
*I use my spell. [CRESCENT SLAYTON] and wipe out two of the bots. The other bots grow claws and start approaching aggressively*
Those are moon users. They resemble werewolves, I didn't know that moon users can turn into werewolves. I'll make sure to try it out when I'm done.
They are more aggressive and stronger because they hate magic. So that other Hate user bot is just a buffer.
I need to attack.
Damn it I just realised I never really used magic until now. All of the magic spells I used are sword-related and they are skills. And Emilia says I will have to make my own spells because all spells are different.
*Flashback*
Madaren: Please teach me a spell Sensei
Emilia: I can't
Madaren: Why?
Emilia: Magic is different for each person. Even if I taught you a spell of mine you would never master it or even get to use more than half of its true power.
That's why I want you to learn your own spells tailored specifically for you.
*Back to the present*
Thank you Sensei Emilia, now I understand what you mean. I'll have to make my own spell. I'll start with fire, something not long range but can be used in a 5-10 foot vicinity.

Basically a fancy way of saying fireball but YES! My first spell, now it's time to kill the Hate user.
*I look at the Hate user and he's Buffing the Elemental users with his magic*

Shit it's too damn late. The elementals are all buffed up and they are angry. They are basically S-Ranks now.
I should've taken care of them first.
[TSUNAMI OF AGONY]
*A Tsunami of acid about 40-50 feet tall approaches me*
Oh shit I need to dodge this. I need a air type move to evade the Tsunami

*Cloud-like wings take form and ascend me to the top and I evade the tsunami*
*Laughs* I am LITERALLY FLYING! This is SO COOL!

[VOLCANIC ERUPTION]
*A pool of lava erupts from under the floor the bots are on.*
[SIMULATION PASSED]
Sophie: *thinking* did his fire affinity just evolved into lava? WHAT. THE. FUCK!
Madaren: So how did I do it?
Sophie: Other than the pool of lava that came out under the floor. PHENOMENAL!
Madaren: Oh sorry about that-
*Sophie snaps her fingers and the mess is fixed*
Madaren: How did you do that!!
Sophie: It's a secret. Alright now it's time for the last one: Swordsmanship. It's the same as Battle Magic and Martial Arts, just Swords and Sword only skills.
[SIMULATION BOTS]
