Chapter Seventeen - Fire and Love
March 1st, 2061, Friday
Todoki and I are holding hands on our way to campus, too embarrassed to look at each other, but we both can tell we feel really happy and warm inside. Today is the last day of the semester until our third year in college. I might drop out soon because it's kinda interfering with my hunter life but I get to be closer to Todoki.
*We arrive at campus and enter into class*
Madaren: Good luck today Todoki.
Todoki: Yeah good luck.
*We sit down in our seats and class begins*
The day is over and I'm walking Todoki home, I should probably take her out.
Madaren: Hey, Todoki.
Todoki: Yeah, Madaren?
Madaren: Do you wanna go out to a restaurant, Sunday?
Todoki: Really?
Madaren: Yeah, of course

*I squeeze her hand and smile while looking down at the ground. We arrive to her place*
Todoki: Wanna, come in.

*I walk away before feeling a tug on my shirt*

*I pull her chin up and kiss her, we pull away after a couple of seconds*

Lin: *Laughs* Fair enough. The President has just assigned us to a Dungeon Mission.
Madaren: What rank?

Madaren: We will need at least 10 S-Ranks and Two SS-Ranks.
Lin: We have more than enough S-Ranks, And you're clearly stronger than Two SS-Ranked Monsters, The President knows that.
Madaren: Where's Savion?
Lin: At another SS-Ranked Dungeon.
Madaren: Let's do this then.
Lin: Let's. *Lin turns towards his Hunters and speaks in Chinese* Dragons! Prepare to March and Fight towards pure evil!
Hunters: YES! GUILDMASTER LIN!
*We arrived at the entrance of the Dungeon*
*Lin looks at me*

*He puts on his helmet*

*We make our way inside and arrive to what seems like a Mystical Forest*
This place looks very magical. Long trees with green streaks of mana pulsing in the inside, glowing grass and moss, a bright blue sky and large pure clouds, Something powerful resides here.
Lin: I can sense something! Prepare!
*The hunters prepare for battle*
Man why am I always fighting with a group of Hunters by my side. Most of the time I always have to intervene when things get bad fast but I want to fight along them sometimes, I should go to the tower more often.
*A rustle can be heard, The hunters position towards what seems to be like a bush*
[LEVEL 350: BEAST OF FIVE CLAWS]
*A large black panther about the size of a large truck jumps out from behind the Hunters and swipes its claws towards them*
They were looking at the wrong position.
Lin: [Sun's WRATH!]
*A Large beam of Sun Energy blasts out from his hands killing the Panther instantly*
Ahh Shit! It was so bright I almost went blind!
Lin: You were looking the wrong way!
Hunters: No we weren't!
*Another panther jumps out and tries a skill*
I'll take care of this.
Madaren: [CRESCENT SLAYTON]
*I send a crescent blade towards its neck and decapitated the Panther*
Lin: They were two?
Madaren: Panthers jump at you when you have your back towards them, so they probably hunt in groups of two to catch prey off guard.
Lin: This Dungeon is dangerous huh.
1 HOUR LATER.
We've killed at least 20 Panthers and I found that Lin Wong is a Celestial Magic User. He was blessed by the Demi-God Sun Wukong and now he can use Sun Magic. Turns out he's the only Sun Magic user. I use Moon Magic, Which is stronger? I have to find out, I'll challenge him to a duel later.
*We arrived at the Boss Gate, I see two large stone statues of what looks like Beastmen about 15 metres tall, one with a sword and one with a axe*
Lin: What are they? Humans? Panthers?
Madaren: Probably both.
*All of the sudden the ground starts shaking*
Hunter: Earthquake?!
Madaren: No. It's them.
*The two warriors who are guarding the gate break out of their stone imprisonment and awaken from their slumber*
VORHES AND HERMES, BROTHER GUARDIANS
LEVEL: 700
*Vorhes carries the Sword and Hermes carries the Axe*
Vorhes: YOU DARE INTRUDE TO THIS SACRED PLACE!
Hermes: CAN'T WAIT TO CRUSH YOU *MANIACAL LAUGHTER*
*Me and Lin step out to face them*
Lin: Stay back hunters.
Madaren: We've got this.
*We manifest our Aura and large amounts of mana encircle us, My aura is white while Lin's is Purple*
Hunters: *Staring in awe*
Heh, I can see them sweating.
Lin: I've got the Swordsman.
Madaren: Don't get hurt.
Lin: Have some faith in me.
Madaren: I wasn't talking to you.
*I look at the two guardians*
Madaren: I was talking about them.
*Lin chuckles and runs to fight the swordsman.*
Madaren: You think you're the only beast here?
[BEAST OF THE NIGHT]
*I transform into a black werewolf like creature*
Hunter: Since when can he do that?
Hunter: Moon users tend to possess a werewolf form.
Madaren: YOUR WRONG.
*I Omnidash towards the Axeman and kick him, but he blocks it with his axe*
Hermes: IS THAT IT?
Madaren: No.
*I spin around and kick him with my other foot, sending him flying into the boss gate.*
Hunter: I couldn't see his kick!
Hermes: HEH, YOU MIGHT BE A FUN LITTLE CHALLENGE FOR ME.
Madaren: Likewise. [VOLCANIC ERUPTION]
*A blast of lava comes from beneath the Axeman Burning his skin*
Hermes: EGH! THAT'S ENOUGH, LET ME HAVE SOME FUN TOO.
*The Axeman gets up and charges towards me swinging his axe*
T-this bastard. It's been a while since I encountered a reckless and dangerous person like him.
Hermes: [SPEED UP]
His axe swings are getting faster, I'm getting cuts around my body.
Hunter: I can't see his swings either!
Madaren: [CLOSE FRENZY]
I was so overwhelmed I forgot to use this move.

His swings aren't accurate at all! But that makes them more unpredictable and dangerous, not to mention he's even faster than I am at dodging! This is truly a SS-Rank Dungeon.
*I barely dodge his swings until.*

*I swing my sword from up to down cutting his arm off completely*
Hunter: He's back!
Hermes: EHH!? *Hermes looks at his left arm*

LIN'S PERSPECTIVE
*Lin rushes to attack the Swordsmans with his Sun Blade*
Vorhes: BEFORE WE FIGHT, MAY WE EXCHANGE NAMES.
*Lin steps back in disbelief*
Lin: You monsters have no honour, why shall I reveal my name?
Vorhes: I MAY BE DIFFERENT FROM YOU, BUT ONE THING WE HAVE IN COMMON, IS THAT WE BOTH ARE SWORDSMAN
Lin: I'm not just a Swordsman, I am a Sorcerer.

*Lin contemplates for a second before revealing his name*
Lin: I am Lin Wong, Guildmaster of the Dragon Fists.
*Vorhes stays silent before showing a Evil and horrifying smile*
Vorhes: AND I AM… YOUR OWN PERSONAL GRIM REAPER
*Suddenly Lin coughs blood and falls to his knee*
Hunter: What! MASTER!

[MANA SENSE] He put hundreds of mini blades in the air and I inhale them, they are shredding my insides as I speak! I must melt them.
Lin: [AURA OF SUNRAY]
*A bright orange and red fire envelops my body and burns the blades inside me to a crisp, I breathe the remnants of the blade out of my mouth, into a smoke*
Hunter: Master Lin never ceases to amaze me.
Lin: YOU DARE PLAY WITH A HUNTER'S INTEGRITY!
Vorhes: H-HOW!?
Lin: [PURE BLADE OF PUNISHMENT] OUT OF ALL THE HUNTERS TO TOY WITH. *His fire covered blade burns the environment around him, turning the forest around to ash* YOU'VE PICKED THE WRONG ONE.
Hunter: No enemy has seen his Blade of Punishment and lived.
*Lin rushes in and engages in a sword battle with Vorhes, everytime Vorhes tries to block his sword is blocked away by Lin's overwhelming strength*
Vorhes: E-ENOUGH! [DUAL THRUST]
*A clone of Vorhes appears behind Lin simultaneously performing a thrust attack*
Hunter: MASTER LIN!
Lin: [SABER TOOTHED BITE]
*Lin's Aura manifests into a Saber Toothed Sun Dragon that annihilates Vorhes's clone in a flash*
Vorhes: W-WHAT!?
Lin: GOODBYE. *Lin slices the Guardian's arm off pushing him back to the boss gate and onto his knee*
Hunter: THEY BOTH DID IT!
Vorhes: YOU BASTARD! AGHHH!!
Hermes: V-VORHES!?
Vorhes: H-HERMES!? WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?
Hermes: I-I WAS DEFEATED.

*I walk over to lin*
Madaren: Heh, he pissed you off too?
Lin: Yeah, *Lin looks down to the sound of dripping blood* Your hand!
Madaren: Yeah for some reason I wasn't taking it seriously, so this is probably my punishment, don't worry it'll heal.
Lin: Of course it will.
*All of a sudden a bright purple flash comes from the two guardians.*
Are they charging up a spell together!
Madaren: Lin! Quick, a sword move won't be able to cut that attack apart.
I lied but I want to combine a spell with Lin to see how powerful it will be.
Lin: What should we do?
Madaren: Combine a spell!
Lin: How?
Madaren: Vibrate your Mana Core at the same frequency as me, And then we both summon a spell at the same time.
Lin: Alright!
*Lin puts out his hands and I put my hand out, we close our eyes focus on synchronising our Mana Cores*
*All of the sudden the sky turns purple and a large storm forms*
Shit, how powerful are there attacks?!
Vorhes & Hermes: [FINALE OF DESTRUCTION]
*A large purple and black beam radiating with nuclear radiation shoots out from both of their hands turning everything around it to ash and smoke*
*Me and Lin open our eyes and finally release a moon and sun spell*
Madaren & Lin: [WRATH OF THE CELESTIAL BODIES]
I'll put a bit of Ghoulish Energy in there too.
*A spiralling White and Red Aura Dragon of Wrath shoots out from our hands with electricity and Ghoulish Energy surrounding it and hits the rivalling beam*
*The world shakes violently as the Sun & Moon Dragon decimates the Opposing beam and kills the Two Guardian along with it*
We did it! We've killed the-
*The beam destroys the boss gate*
[PANTHER KING OF ALL FORE-]

*The Dragon evaporates the boss, kill him instantly*
The Dragon is going to explode like a nuke! I need a protective barrier for everybody.
*The Dragon explodes and before it could reach the hunters*
Madaren: [EXTRA-DIMENSIONAL STORAGE]
*A gigantic portal appears before the Hunters and moves forward taking them and me and lin*
*We fall endlessly to what seems like a void of nothingness*
Lin: *Yelling* WHERE DID YOU TAKE US!?
Madaren: I DON'T KNOW?!?
*I open another portal below everyone sending us back to the dungeon right next to the Portal exit*
*The sky is red with large amounts of smoke in the air, the entire forest has been destroyed with not a single monster alive*
Madaren: Q-quick! To the portal before you get decimated!
*The hunters get on there feet and run in the portal, before the nuke's shockwave arrives and destroys our organs*
*We finally arrived back out of the portal and the dungeon closes*
Lin: *Breathes in and out fast*
Madaren: W-what was that?
Lin: Our sun and moon magic probably wasn't did not synchronise perfectly at the end, it was like a different energy was in our spell!?

It was the Ghoulish energy wasn't it? Oh my god, I just created a world ending nuke by accident, I forgot to synchronise my Ghoulish Energy too.
Hunter: W-What the hell!
Madaren: Yeah sorry it was our bad.
Mostly me but.
*The hunters get up and yell*
Hunters: THAT WAS AWESOME, *INTENSE CHEERING*
Madaren: w-what?
Lin: That was indeed a sight to behold.

Lin: By the way, what was that space spell you did?
Madaren: I just came up with that on the spot.
Lin: what?
Madaren: That was probably the most terrifying spell I've made so far.
Lin: do you not know?
Madaren: Huh?
Lin: THAT WAS A NEAR INFINITE SPELL YOU JUST DID.
Madaren: W-what
20 Minutes Later.
IMA Analyzer: Your pay will be… 128,500,000$
