Chapter 14: A heart of what?

Blood gushed from the woman's mask as it rolled down the side like a small ball.

Her eyes were visible as they were a faint amber color mixed with brown.

They stared at Akil, as he was left in fear. His heart grew louder, and the commotion outside grew more and more.

A woman was dying in front of him. . . should he do something? SHould he just let her die there or help her out.

Akil's instincts kicked in as he rushed towards the kitchen as he scurred throughout the drawers, looking for some bandages.

The sound of gunshots ringed in his ears, as he flinched with each sound ringing in his ears.

He suddenly found the bandages, scissors, and some pliers as he rushed towards the lady once more with panic running in his veins.

He never thought his safety classes would have came in handy.

He put the items down, and used the scissors to cut where the bullet hole was.

Akil felt sick as he looked at the bullet wound,as blood oozed down onto his floor.

He covered his mouth,as he reached for the pliers as suddenly, the woman coughed up a decently large amount of blood.

Some of it had gotten on Akil's face, as he held every urge to throw up at the feel of it.

But he had to focus, He bit his tongue and continued to removed the bullet.

The pliers went in as the sound of tissue moving around and splashing drove him insane until he found the bullet and carefully yanked it out. All the while the woman grunted and screamed simultaneously.

Akil looked over at the pliers as the bullet was tightly clamped in between it.

He quickly threw it to the side as he began wrapping the bandage around her, as he carefully lifted her for the bandages to wrap around her waist.

He had used the entire wrap to fix the injury as he tossed her onto the couch.

He had saved a murderer's life. Akil looked down at his hands as they were covered in her blood.

Without a second thought, he dashed outside, and looked over the railing of his apartment.

The Giant was down, and Aaron stood there with a menacing look in his eyes, as he gave a thumbs up to Akil.

The tyrant was down.
