Chapter 80-Khione vs Sparky
Khione stands up to face Sparky, her bombastic opponent.
"So tell me, who am I fighting?" Khione asks.
"I'm the Fourth Sun of Prometheus," Sparky answers, "Of the Children of Fire."
"FOURTH sun, how?" Khione asks, "How many are you?"
"Seven," Sparky answers.
Khione pauses as she holds up her hand.
"So if Noah faces the first Sun…" Khione begins muttering to herself as she points to her first finger."
"And if Gaia faces the second Sun…" Khione continues as she points to her next finger
"And Ana faces the third Sun…" Khione finishes as she points to her third finger.
Khione pauses.
"SO WHY AM I FACING THE FOURTH SUN?!"
"Shouldn't someone stronger, like Master Flint face the Fourth Sun…?" Khione sobs as she drops to her knees.
Sparky raises an eyebrow at Khione.
"You mean…you AREN'T fourth strongest of Team Noah…?" She asks.
"No…" Khione whimpers.
Sparky pauses.
"SO WHY THE HELL AM I FIGHTING YOU THEN?!" Sparky frantically cries as she rubs the side of her head, "Someone WEAK like Sol should be facing you, NOT me…!"
"So we're both confused, huh?" Khione asks as she stands up to face her opponent and resumes her Charge Stance, "Then this makes it an even match."
"Ice Charge, Level One-!" Khione shouts as she swipes both hands outwards.
"Spark Charge-" Sparky begins to say, but before she can finish chanting her spell, Khione freezes the air around Sparky and encases her in a block of ice.
Khione exhales a chilly breath.
But then, Khione block of ice INSTANTLY explodes in a rush of flames and smoke, sending chunks of ice flying everywhere.
Khione turns away and uses an arm to shield her face from the explosion.
And upon turning back to face Sparky, Khione finds the woman free from her block of ice.
"GREAT," Khione sneers.
"Did you REALLY think that that would work?" Sparky taunts with a smirk, "I'm stronger than you, which means I can E-Charge in order to escape your entrapment spells."
"Nah," Khione smirks back, "But I start every fight with my Permafrost, so it would be awkward to break that trend now."
Swiftly, Sparky draws her wand and aims it at Khione, and subsequently, electric-yellow sparks of energy begin to burst and swirl around Sparky's body.
Spark Charge, Level One: Explosion!" Sparky shouts as she flips her wand upwards, and instantly, the ground below Khione begins to glow a golden-yellow.
"-HUP!" Khione cries as she flips out of the way to dodge Sparky's attack, just as the ground where Khione was previously standing explodes in a burst of flames and smoke.
But then, Sparky chants: "REPEAT," and all of a sudden, a second explosion explodes from the first.
"Woah!" Khione cries as she hops backwards, just barely dodging the explosion.
"She can create a second explosion without E-Charging?!" Sparky cries.
"It's all thanks to this baby that the Lord gave me," Sparky cackles as she pats her left eye, "This eye grants me the REPEAT ability, to generate a second explosion from my first."
"That eye…" Khione softly says to herself, "I vaguely remember Master Flint telling me about this…it must be a Devil Eye!"
"Spark Charge-!" Sparky shouts again as she resumes her Charge Stance, "-Machine Gun!"
Flaming bombs then fly from Sparky's wand, making their way over to Khione.
"Crap!" Khione cries as she resumes her Charge stance then swipes a hand upwards, freezing the air before her and creating a wall of ice to shield herself from Sparky's attack, "Ice Charge, Level One: Permafrost!"
Sparky's flaming bombs fly into Khione's then explode, shattering her ice shield instantly, and causing Khione to cry in pain as she's engulfed in Sparky's flaming explosion.
As Sparky's explosion subsides, Khione drops to the ground on one knee, soaked in blood and panting heavily.
"Sparky's explosions shatter my ice instantly…" Khione pants, "I need to find some way around it."
Swiftly, Khione jumps up to her feet and resumes her Charge Stance.
"Ice Charge, Level Two: Solid Hammer!" Khione shouts as she swipes both hands outwards, freezing the air above Sparky's head in the form of a GIANT block of ice, which begins to fall down towards Sparky.
Sparky smirks calmly as she resumes her Charge Stance then peers up towards Khione's ice block.
"Spark Charge, Level One: Explosion!" Sparky shouts, and instantly, Khione's block of ice explodes, sending ice chunks flying everywhere.
Swiftly, Khione resumes her Charge Stance once more.
"Ice Charge, Level Three: Solid Lance!" Khione shouts as she swipes both hands outwards, freezing the air Khione into the form of dozens of ice lances which she sends flying towards Sparky.
In response, a smirking Sparky resumes her Charge Stance.
"Spark Charge Level Two: Machine Gun!" Sparky shouts as she fires off another bombardment of flaming bombs towards Khione.
The spells fly towards one another then collide.
Upon impact, Sparky's bombs shatter Khione's ice lances, just as before, engulfing the battlefield in a cloud of smoke.
"How'd you like that one?" Sparky cackles.
But through the smoke…Khione charges.
"ICE CHARGE, LEVEL FOUR: MURDER VAMBRACE!" Khione roars as she freezes the air around her arm into the form of a spiked ice gauntlet, "Let's see you use your explosions up close!"
Sparky's eyes widen.
Khione lets out a battle cry and smashes her iced fist into Sparky's jaw, causing her head to violently snap to the side as she's sent flying backwards, blood rushing from her nose and mouth.
Khione charges Sparky again with her Murder Vambrace, but before she can get in close, Sparky recovers herself then rescues her Charge Stance.
"Spark Charge, Level One: Explosion!" Sparky cries as she generates an explosion underneath Khione's feet, which explodes, sending Khione skidding backwards.
"Crap…" Khione coughs as she waves away the smoke of Sparky's explosion as she struggles to push herself back up to her feet, "Sparky can't risk using her explosions once I'm up close, however, getting in close is a whole 'nother beast. I need a way to get in close…"
