Chapter 95-God

"Ohh…" I groan as I sit up and open my eyes, after having been sent flying HUNDREDS OF FEET backwards from the force of water exploding from Noah's body.

My eyes widen once I notice Noah perched on top of a huge torrent of water, standing on top of the water and glaring down at Prometheus, like a blue drill piercing the sky.

But with his long flowing hair, matching white beard, overly muscular form, darker shade of tan skin, and seafoam-green swirling-wave tattoos which match his eyes…this doesn't look like the Noah I know.

"Noah…?"

"Master F, what's happening to Noah?!" I then cry as I turn to face my master, who's busy staring up at Noah and his torrent of water, his eyes wide in fear and anguish, as well.

"I…I…" Master F stammers, not answer my question.

"MASTER F!"

"I don't KNOW, Khione!" Master F shouts as he turns to face me, and when he does, my eyes widen…for tears are forming at the corners of Master F's eyes.

I lift a hand up and use my wrist to wipe my eyes. I'm crying as well.

"I just don't know, Khione…"

I peer over at Ana and Gaia, who are still writhing in anguish, not paying attention to Noah's new, Godly form.

I then turn to Mary, who's staring up at Noah in fear and confusion. I wrap an arm around Mary, and the wounded child sinks into my tender hold.

"Noah…" Mary whimpers, "Come back…"

I then turn to face Noah again.

"NOAA!!!" I scream, "NOAA!!!"

But no matter how much I scream…my voice doesn't seem to reach Noah's ears.

Noah…slowly lifts his right arm up, and the arm that had been burnt off from Prometheus' flames generates IMMEDIATELY, and a trident of water forms in Noah's hand INSTANTLY as well, which he aims at Prometheus.

"DAMMIT, NOAH, LISTEN TO ME!" I scream as I let go of Mary and charge towards Noah, "YOU'RE MAKING YOUR FRIENDS CRY!"

"KHIONE, DON'T!" Master F calls after me, but I don't listen to him as I continue charging towards Noah.

Once close enough, I thrust both hands outwards as I lunge towards Noah, icy-blue sparks of energy swirling around me.

"LISTEN TO ME!" I scream as I plunge my hands into Noah's torrent of water in an attempt to freeze it. But once I do, I scream out in pain. The water making up Noah's torrent is circulating so fast that it feels like my hands are going to rip off my body. And maybe they would have, if Master F and Mary hadn't pulled me out in time.

"KHIONE!" Mary cries as she clutches my hands and treats my wounds.

A giant wave of water then crashes out of Noah's typhoon, causing the three of us to scream as we're washed away.

"So these…are Noah's friends…" Noah ominously says as he peers down at us.

No…not Noah.

That voice…is FAR too deep and sinister to fit Noah's cheerful tone.

That voice belongs to the God of Water…POSEIDON.

"Pathetic," Poseidon spits, "Just what has Noah been doing with MY body?"

Poseidon then turns to face Prometheus again, and in one fell swoop…LAUNCHES his trident towards Prometheus, and speeds so fast it feels like a bolt of lightning is smiting Prometheus from the heavens above.

Poseidon's trident pierces the ground, forming a crater larger than a house in the earth, and sending cracks appearing all across the ground, which open up, and swallow trees whole.

Upon piercing the ground, the trident then explodes, creating a towering wave of water larger than a village that crashes down upon Prometheus.

Prometheus smirks as he places his hands together, and flame-orange sparks of energy begin to burst and swirl around his body.

"FIRE CHARGE, LEVEL ONE: DIVINE FLAME!"

Golden flames then engulf Prometheus's body, flames so hot that it evaporates Noah's water before Proemtheus could be swept away by the wave.

"Impressive," Prometheus smirks, "Those limbs I burnt off and the flesh I scorched already regenerated!"

"Big brother…" Poseidon growls as he glares at Prometheus.

"Little brother…" Prometheus answers as he smirks up at Poseidon.

"Why aren't you using your TRUE powers…?"

"In my weakened state, I don't think my body could survive using my true Godly powers for long. Honestly…while I DID plan to help you regain your memories, I didn't think that THIS would happen!"

YOU STOOD AGAINST US, PROMETHEUS! USE YOUR GODLY POWERS! LET US SETTLE THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL!"

"Nah," Prometheus cheekily replies as he resumes his Charge Stance, "There are things I need to do before using the remains of my Godly powers against you. However…I WILL leave you with a parting gift."

Flame-orange sparks of energy EXPLODE from Prometheus' body, in a brilliant blaze that I've never seen before.

"Infinity Charge…"

In response, Poseidon places his hands together too, as if he was praying. Seafom green sparks of energy EXPLODE from his body in an even grander fashion.

"Infinity Charge…"

The ground begins to tremble, nearly knocking me off balance.

"WHAT'S HAPPENING?!" I cry over the rumble of the quaking earth.

"I don't know, but…THIS DOESN'T SEEM GOOD!" Master F cries.

And then…the two Gods aim their hands at one another.

"-GRAND METEOR"

"-GRAND FLOOD!"

At the same time, a GIANT blast of water EXPLODE from the Gods' hands respectively, which FLY towards one another, faster than my human eyes can keep up. Even from hundreds of feet away, I feel my skin tingle as the trees around Prometheus ignite in flames. Meanwhile, a torrential downpour begins to rain down upon us, with enough force to drown a man standing up.

While the scoop of these two spells are so grand that it's hard to explain…there IS one thing that I can tell you-

I can see how Poseidon was able to flood the world.

"The Elemental Apocalypse…" Master F whispers to himself.

"Huh…?" I ask as I peer over at my master.

"The Elemental Apocalypse," he repeats, clearer this time, "Unless the four original elements are united…a tsunami, hurricane, earthquake, and meteor will WIPE out all four corners of the planet at once, finishing the flood's work."

"So that's why the Land of Fire seems so futuristic…" I sadly say as I watch the Gods' spells fly towards one another, "They were never hit by a meteorite…"

Poseidon scowls and Prometheus cackles as their spells fly towards one another.

And then…the two spells collide.

The collision of the Gods' water and fire is so grand that I have to turn away and shield my eyes from the blast.

The earth continues to tremble, and thunder booms in the sky above.

"NOAH!" I scream as I turn to face the two Gods again, only to see that we're being protected by a golem of glass, a dome of rock, and a tornado of wind.

"You...guys…" I softly say, as Master F, Ana, and Gaia all turn to face me, and a cowering Mary.

"Khione," Master F says, "Let's go save our friend."

I wipe my eyes one more time, before smirking at my master.

"RIGHT!"
