Chapter 118-Khione vs Sparky, Part Three

Khione coughs as she's sent flying backwards due to the force of Sparky's explosion, before landing on the ground in a cloud of smoke.

"Ohh…" Khione groans as she begins to push herself off and wave away the smoke.

But before Khione can fully stand up, a wave of pain courses throughout Khione's body as Sparky slams the top of her foot into Khione's gut with an explosive force and yellow flash that sends Khione flying upwards.

Khione's back slams into the dark red volcanic cavern ceiling above her which causes the ceiling to shatter.

Khione lands on the ground at last.

"IGNITE!" Khione then hears Sparky chant from underneath her.

Sparky lifts a foot up then stomps it against the ground, which causes a small yellow explosion that rockets Sparky into the air, and lands before Khione.

Khione winces as she slowly pushes her up and meets Sparky's smirking gaze.

Khione's eyes widen once she notices that Sparky's right eye is now dark brown with a bright purple iris in the form of a mysterious symbol, and black sclera.

"Two…Devil Eyes…?" Khione gasps.

"That's right, the Lord gave me this second one," Sparky smirks as she pats her new right eye, "It allows me to turn ANYTHING I touch into a bomb!"

Sparky then lands a powerful kick to Khione's jaw with the top of her foot, creating a small explosion that causes Khione's head to violently snap upwards, blood pouring from her nose and mouth.

"-Even my own foot!" Sparky cackles.

"Crap…" Khione grunts as she stands up to face her opponent at last, then resumes her Charge Stance, "Sparky has a whole bunch a' new tricks up her sleeve…"

"But so do I!"

"Ice Charge, Level One-" Khione begins to shout.

"Starting your fight off with your Permafrost, eh?" Sparky smirks, "You start every fight off with it, but it never works!"

"-PERMAFROST!" Khione shouts as she swings both hands outwards, encasing Sparky in ice.

But then, a moment later, electric yellow sparks of energy explode from Sparky's body, shattering Khione's ice, and sending chunks of ice flying everywhere.

"I told ya'!" Sparky cackles.

But once Sparky's eyes are no longer frozen over and she can now see again, Sparky's eyes widen. For Khione is no longer standing before her.

"Huh…?" Sparky asks as she raises an eyebrow, "Where did she go…?"

"BEHIND YOU!" Khione shouts, causing Sparky's eyes to widen as she turns and peers over her shoulder to where she heard Khione's voice, seeing Khione in her Charge Stance behind Sparky. However, over Khione's head, is a glowing purple crystal shaped like a star.

"When did she-" Sparky begins to cry, but then Sparky pauses as her eyes widen, 

"While I was frozen…!" Sparky gasps, "Khione teleported behind me while my eyes were frozen and I couldn't see! She used her own bad habit as an advantage!"

"Star Charge, Level one: Constellation!" Khione roars as she slams a mighty fist into Sparky's back, sending the Spark Charger flying forwards, and slamming into the rocky cavern in front of her in a cloud of dust.

As the dust settles, Sparky falls to the ground, clutching her bleeding head.

"Now I can't use that trick a second time," Khione says to herself, "Sparky will be expecting it. I didn't want to use that trick so early on in the fight, but oh well, now I have some momentum going."

Khione smirks as she resumes her Charge Stance.

"Ice Charge, Level One: Solid Hammer!" Khione shouts as she swipes both hands outwards, freezing the air above Sparky's head into a huge block of ice which begins to descend upon the Spark Charger.

Sparky draws her wand and aims it towards Khione's block of ice, then reinforces her arm with her wrist. Electric yellow sparks of energy begin to burst and swirl around Sparky's body.

"Spark Charge, Level Four: Cluster Bomb!" Sparky shouts as her left non-wand wielding fist begins to glow electric yellow.

Sparky then uppercuts her fist upwards, slamming her glowing yellow knuckles into Khione's block of ice and causing it to explode, sending chunks of ice flying everywhere.

The chunks of ice then begin to glow electric yellow and explode, bombarding Khione with ice pellets, which also explode upon making contact with Khione's body, which sends Khione flying backwards.

"My new level four spell causes any inanimate object to explode into more and more pieces until it's microscopicm like dust!" Sparky cackles as Khione's sent flying backwards due to the force of reverberating explosions, "I've leveled up since the last time you've seen me, Khione!"

"Star Charge, Level One-" Khione grunts as she resumes her Charge Stance mid air, "-CONSTELLATION!"

Khioen swipes both hands outwards, creating two glowing purple jagged crystals, one above her own head, and one above Sparky's.

In the blink of an eye, Khione uses her stars to teleport in front of Sparky, and wraps both hands around her.

Sparky's eyes widen.

"Wha-?" She begins to ask, but Sparky is cut off by Khione's sinister smirk.

"Anything of your choosing explodes until it's turned to dust, eh?" Khione smirks, "WELL MY CHUNKS OF ICE HAVEN'T BEEN TURNED TO DUST YET! I'LL GLADLY BE THE VILLAIN IN THIS FIGHT!"

The miniscule chunks of ice bombarding Khione's body as a result of Sparky's Cluster Bomb spell then explode yet again, sending the two women flying backwards in an explosion of dust, smoke, and an electric yellow flash of light.

Sparky coughs as her back slams against the volcanic cavern wall behind her, then slides down it.

"I can't use my Level Four Spell again," Sparky coughs, "Khione has too much tenacity. She'll just counter it."

Khione's back slams into the wall behind her as well.

Khione giggles to herself with a proud smirk as she peels herself off of the wall then resumes her Charge Stance.

"Star Charge, Level Three: Holy Judgement!" Khione shouts as she swipes both hands outwards, constructing five glowing purple jagged crystals above Sparky's head, in the shape of a star.
