01: Piece of Paper

"Nia Eseia Elle! For goddamn sake, wake up!" I was shocked to turn my bed because of the scream coming from my brother.

Yes, bitch, I'm already awake!" I snorted and kicked the pillow. His shout hurt my ears! Mygod!

"Serves you right, bitch. Get up, your friends are here." Notifying it I just threw the pillow at him.

"Damn you, Ryx Rio!" I'm cheap to him. He threw the pillow back, so I fell back on the bed because of the force of his throwing. I really hope that Mommy and Daddy will adopt him with the same attitude. I just got home from an adventure with Dora, Diego, and friends. My body is still sore from the thick road we went through last night.

I just sighed and got up, knowing my friends were all impatient and brutal. While he was fixing himself, my door suddenly opened. I formed karate because of my panic. When I turned to the door, my friends appeared, holding back their laughter. One of them couldn't stop laughing, so they started laughing. I embarrassedly adjusted my figure and looked at them seriously.

"What? Are you done laughing?" I said sarcastically. They stopped laughing and adjusted themselves. I want to punch their faces for making fun of me.

"Not in a good mood, Eseia?" Jax asked. It's so obvious that I'm not in the mood, and then I'll be laughed at.

Yiarein turned her gaze to me while her eyebrows were raised. "Let's go."

I just made them suffer and then abandoned them. I can see the shadow of someone behind me while I'm looking for something.

"Where are we going anyway?" I asked, annoyed.

"Didn't we have an adventure last night?" I nodded.

"And when we were walking through the abandoned city, I saw a piece of paper. He took it from his pack and showed it to me. I'm talking to Etyiarn, the adventurer in this squad. I frowned because it was a piece of paper that seemed to be filled with blood.

"Is that blood or what?" I turned to Rox, who was looking at the paper Etyiarn was holding with raised eyebrows.

Sge turned her gaze to Rox and then shrugged her shoulder and returned her sight back to me. "It's Deirous Town; I did a search about it when I got home, and some of the articles said that the town is dangerous, which is why there's a thrill!"

I was shaking while listening to what he was saying. It's a misfortune; why doesn't he just crash? After all, it's also a misfortune; with less gas, you'll go straight to the pit when you're dead in a rival.

Another piece of information you have " Yiarein growled, having been silent for a while.

Etyiarn took a posture with one hand on her chin and the other on her waist; she looked like she was thinking. "Only a few of those who try to come here make it home."

That's when she caught my attention. She looked at all of us seriously before looking back at me. "The survivors there were mentally disturbed for a long time because of the trauma, then the colleagues did not see the body. That's all!"

"Are you sure with that? I mean, it's so creepy and it gives me goosebumps, Jax said. I totally agree that the town is creepy and the source is not helpful.

"No other information?" Yiarein hesitated. Etyiarn only shook her head in response, so the four of us sighed.

"Bye mom! Bye dad! See you!" I said goodbye to my parents. The five of us got into the travel van that we always take on every adventure. Fortunately, it did not give up.

"Where is that?" Rox asked, wondering who was driving.

"That's where we were going yesterday, but we'll go to the right, Etyiarn replied, watching korean drama.

"What the heck? How did you know?" Jax asked in shock.

"I noticed him while we were heading to the abandoned city," he said. I also noticed that in this case, the character is not clear because of the stain of blood. I guess? It is filled with red, so it is not immediately noticeable, and the aura of the road is foggy.

We were on a six-hour flight before reaching the road to Deirous Town, which is just a detour from the abandoned city. Like yesterday, we got out of the van because this road is narrow and you really have to walk.

I walked to the center and narrowed my eyes. I frowned because I saw a figure.

I jumped in shock because someone tapped me. "Let's go, Yiarein said, and then put my arm in his. Etyiarn did the same.

"Are you sure about this, Tyia?" Jax asked, who was behind us with Rox.

"Yup!" His correct answer was to meet a large statue. We both backed away in shock.

"Shit." I heard them cuss. At least I was mentally retarded. We continued walking, and it was as if the statue's gaze was following us. I took out my phone, and it no longer had a signal. I turned on the flashlight, and there we saw what we were passing by. It was wet mud with blood. Our boots sink with every step we take.

"I want to go home," I heard Yiarein whisper as he held me tightly. I'm going to regret this adventure sooner or later. We also walked for a few minutes before seeing the poles and a smooth road. It's surprising because this place has people. We were taken back again because of the old woman who suddenly appeared in front of us.

"V-vous ne d-devriez pas t-tous ê-être ici..." he stammered while looking deeply at me. I looked at him a few times, so I averted my gaze.

"Ahmm...La? Where can we stay here? Or can the five of us sleep?" Rox asked a few questions. The old man turned to him and then looked back at me. There are few people here, and if you look at it, it looks like they have a bad plan. But I can't judge that fast; I don't know this town, and I don't know them.

"You will repent. Follow me." I was scared by the tone of his voice, so I ran to Rox, who now hugged me.

We were quietly following this old man when he suddenly spoke. "Why did you come?" He asked urgently.

"We're going on an adventure here," Etyiarn answered with excitement. The old man stopped walking, so we stopped too.

He shook his head, which made me sleepy. Why? What's going on in this town, and this is his reaction?

"You're not supposed to be here. Why did you choose to be held captive by curiosity when you know you're doomed?" He promised.

"We just like to go on adventures in dangerous places, Jax answered. We continued walking while they exchanged words.

"Even with a life in exchange?" I hummed the curiosity in the old man's voice before stopping at a house with two floors. It faced us and walked towards my place. I held onto Rox tightly out of fear.

"Calm down, I won't hurt you. This is the key to that house—five rooms on the second floor, he asked me. I took the key he handed me and gave him an apologetic look.

"I will go ahead of you. Be careful," he said before turning away from us. De javu, I saw this in my dream.
