Prologue

"The drone's set, aaand.. we're live now", said the man at the back. "I hope I don't lose myself trying to record the effect of the catastrophe", said the girl in the video. "Two minutes until impact! This drone will keep recording even if something happens to me.", shouted the voice behind the camera. "Okay so far, according to the news drone footage, the victims experienced severe headaches in a matter of seconds and they either fainted, started screaming, or started to attack nearby people! No one amongst the victims was able to hold a conversation, except a really few who looked only in severe pain due to headaches and no other symptoms, but they were instantly beaten to death by the other victims. I hope to describe the effects of this destructive phenomenon, even if it's just a little and it might help the people in the unaffected areas. Also, my personal opinion on this catastrophe is that it's either caused by an experimental failure, or some otherworldly being wants our species extinct", reported the woman in view and took a deep breath. After a quick pause, she looked at the man behind the drone and said, "Be ready to kill me if I go on a rampage", her face got serious and she looked back at the camera again and began, "I have 10 seconds until impact, I'm sorry if I'm unable to provide any information". The timer hit zero, and the camera began to shake as if there was an earthquake even though the drone was hovering. This was the first step to understanding the power of this unknown cataclysm. The girl in the video collapsed and groaned. "I'm currently experiencing severe headache, as if my brain's being ripped apart and put together at the same time", there was a sudden silence and her face looked like she was horrified, and she instantly let out a loud wail, even through all this, she was trying to speak, and she mutter her last words, "Dozens of MY voices are screaming and talking randomly, I…. cannot maintain…. My sanity". The horrendous expression on her face turned something into psychotic and inhuman. She started running towards the drone, but it ascended to get a proper view. Then a plasma beam was seen blowing away her head. She drop dead and was missing half of her head.

The drone descended to inspect but was caught by the man behind the camera. His face had a similar psychotic look, but this person was crying but also pointing the gun at the drone. The wings were destroyed and it had to land. He muttered something to the camera, but he was too far from the mic. The next action sent a chill down everyone's spine. He set the drone to self-destruct and shot himself with the plasma gun. His body fell to the ground with a loud thud and the screen went black as the drone exploded.

No one could understand the actions of those who appeared on screen and entered a state of panic. But one thing became certain to the world. No one can escape these phenomena. It was as if the whole world was in utter despair. The entire planet was engulfed in silence due to this ruthless catastrophe. The sight of blood and violence everywhere, people being ripped apart mentally and shrieks of agony echoed in all directions. This chaos, this destruction and the whole world going insane marked the beginning of the inevitable future, the NEOLYPSE!
