Chapter 32: A Distraction in the Office

Addicted to his devices as every good business man is, Alastair is grateful that he doesn't need to move from the bed to do further research into their not strictly legal plans. Alastair grabs his laptop and blue light glasses from his bedside table and then proceeds to type as quietly as possible. He looks into what he has access to in the business. Alastair, despite his endless ability, has more skill and experience verbally handling business interactions.

He knows how to talk his siblings out of trouble. He knows what kinds of deals people are willing to make. He knows how to compel people into forgetting something without causing a fuss, which is no easy feat.
