Wolfgang watched Bonnie make off to the bathroom and took that as his cue to leave. However, before heading toward the door, Marcus snatched up the manilla envelope containing all the sketchy pictures he had glanced at earlier.


What he needed was a second pair of highly trained eyes to look through these photographs with him. Setting the envelope down on his desk, Marcus took out his phone and notified Monte to come to his office. In the meantime, Wolfang emptied the contents of the mysterious folder and laid out each picture as though it stood alone.


His stomach churned with nausea at the thought of someone following them around raced through his dark mind. A few minutes flew by when he heard a distinguishable knock on his door. Monte stepped inside with a look of curiosity playing at his browline. 


“You rang for me, boss?” Monte asked.


Marcus spoke without pulling his gaze away from the spread. 


“I need your eyes, Monte,” he told him coldly.
