Chapter 29: A Cure for a Panic Attack

*BONNIE’S POV*

The second Marcus had left the room, Bonnie felt herself drop back into the soft mattress. Her face flushed with a mixture of bashfulness and embarrassment. Parts of her body still tingled from all the attention Marcus had given her right before they were interrupted.

Her muscles ached in the most wonderful way and her skin still carried a faint scent of him. She hummed and curled against the blankets as visions of their heated morning replayed over in her head.

And she was desperate for more...like always.

‘No. No, Bonnie. What you need is another shower, possibly a cup of coffee, and to call Stella,’ she thought.

Bonnie grabbed one of the soft blankets off the bed and wrapped it loosely around herself. She made it as far as three steps before hearing her phone go off. Her shoulders tensed with the thought of it being her agent. After her ‘meeting’ with Marcy, Bonnie had been dodging her calls left and right.
