Jamison rushed back to the hotel they were staying at as quickly as he could. Cynthia’s warning weighed on his mind uncomfortably. It sounded like she knew where they were hiding. Up until this point, he was certain that they had been careful. Could Terry have decided to give them up? No, the old man hadn’t known who they were. It was more likely someone spotted them by chance and followed them. 


All of it had been nothing more than a diversion so they could try to isolate Kade. From the ambush up until this point, all of it was carefully planned out. It meant that Angelo was not someone to be taken lightly. If he was out to hurt Kade, he was going to do everything he could to make it happen. That fact had Jamison suspicious that he had everything to do with Warren Monroe’s death as well. Perhaps he had an agenda against the entire Monroe family.
