Jamison followed Kit outside, relieved that he had decided to come along. Not because he was afraid that he would run into something, but because something wasn’t sitting right with him. It was too much of a coincidence that Kit should suddenly show up here at The Safe Place after Tiago was killed and they had no choice but to flee. His story would have made sense if Jamison hadn’t been the one that saw the scene in the cellar. The ropes were cut and he didn’t feel that their captive would have been able to do that on her own.
