Kara was so wrapped up in the moment that she wasn’t sure she could form real words. To save her any further embarrassment, she nodded wordlessly, granting him permission.

"Ramses!" Kara's desperate scream echoed through the darkness. Silence was her only response.  She reached back, searching for him, but there was no sign of her brother. 


Panic surged within her as the eerie voice of the creature reverberated through the cave, chilling her to the bone. "You dare disturb my sleep?" The words sent shivers down her spine, and she felt a growing sense of dread.


Frantically, Kara tried to summon the light again, but her powers seemed to have abandoned her. No matter how hard she concentrated, the darkness persisted, leaving her blind and vulnerable.


"Ramses!" she called out once more, hoping to hear his voice in response. Fear gripped her heart as she raced forward, her hands outstretched, trying to find any trace of her brother in the oppressive darkness.


A low, eerie mumble filled the air, and Kara's heart skipped a beat.
