Issue #3-Chapter 6, Part 2

Caving to my mind's demands, I continued to search for something that would keep them occupied. But I still managed to find none, no matter how many times my mind pressured me so.

As the monsters continued to get near me, I still continued to search for something while looking back and forth. I was beginning to run slower once the energy on my legs ran dry. My feet were dominated by pain. I swallowed my spit when I looked back and forth, panting with my mouth open a couple times.

Once their shadows were casted upon me, I looked back and screamed. The monsters roared at me and raised their claws above their heads, getting ready to strike me.

Returning to my destination, I gasped and widened my eyes out of amazement. Not only did I see another dark alley, but also a cart full of rotten, moldy apples with some blood stains on them standing under the street light.

I smiled when I finally found something that would slow my enemies down. I immediately jumped forward when the monsters swung down at my back, yet they missed their target and only swung against the air instead.

Once I made it to the cart, I pushed it from one of its sides while the werewolves roared at me, despite how a bit heavy it was. Although I couldn't stand that bad smell, I made sure not to set my hands on those apples. They didn't even bother to move yet; they just stood there and raised their claws back while roaring at me.

But by the time they charged their claws after me, I was able to push it down on the path. I hoped those things would slow them down. When those monsters stepped on one of those apples each, they slipped over and fell down like a bunch of bananas, roaring out of pain.

I panted and watched them fall down and lay there on the ground, surrounded by those apples. I panted with my hand raised in front of my chest and my mouth closed. Seeing those monsters stunned just gave me an opportunity to hurry up to find a hiding place, before those monsters find me.

When a monstrous roar echoed from my left, I was jumpy a bit and turned to its direction, walking backwards a bit before I entered another dark alleyway. I took a look around me and hoped to find something around me.

I found a lot of doors in the front yard and hoped I was able to head inside. At the same time though, I heard footsteps echoing behind me which made me look back and forth.

Believing I had no time to open every door in the area, I kept walking forward. I continued on until I spotted another werewolf halfway in the alleyway.

I stopped moving and gasped, shivering and covering my mouth with my hands. The werewolf was facing the rest of the buildings towards the end of the alleyway. Although I was lucky it didn't detect me at first, its ears faced me.

I took a look around for a place to hide and my eyes spotted a door creaked open a little. There was no light inside and I hoped there was no werewolf there.

By the time the monster sniffed the air, that was when I knew I needed to hide now. Remembering those spices that the old man sprayed in his house earlier, I hoped they were in there as well. I believed the werewolf had already caught my scent. It was useless hiding from it, even in the fog.

When the werewolf turned around, it roared at me and detected my presence, charging its way after me. Telling myself to run, I ran for my life and headed for that house.

While I ran, more monstrous roars echoed from my right. I turned to those sounds and my destination back and forth as fear dominated my mind. I wanted to remain calm, but having more incoming wolves after me had made me less calm.

As soon as I made it there, I quickly opened the door and the monster's shadow was already casted upon me. I looked up at the werewolf and gasped, seeing it charge towards me with its claws out in the air. It bared its fangs and blood and its drools were flying out of its mouth. I assumed it already killed someone in the area recently.

I hurried inside and shut the door, locking it while the monster slammed itself against the door, causing the door to lean back a little. Hearing the werewolf sliding down onto the door, I turned around and walked backwards a little, shivering and covering my mouth with my hands.

Then I turned back around and swallowed my own saliva. I heard nothing but silence in the room, and the smell of death and decay entered my nostrils. While I took a look around in the room, I saw nothing but darkness in here which led me to search for something to light it up.

It was interrupted by the werewolves' growls and the banging on the door. Being jumpy a bit more, I quickly turned around and gazed at the door, shivering and covering my mouth with my hands as the door was bent open a little, with some wood pieces flying off of it. I also saw a couple werewolves trying to bang on the window. I was desperate to find those spices and hide as quickly as possible, before those things killed me and took me off to that horrible, horrible witch!
