Zhong Manhua's pupils suddenly constricted, and she didn't continue reading.
All emotions surged up to her understanding, and darkness immediately fell before her eyes, causing her to collapse onto the sofa.
The butler was startled and hurried forward, "Madam!"
"Don't come over!" Zhong Manhua, supporting herself on the arm of the sofa, barely managed to reseat herself. With eyes bloodshot, she yelled harshly, "Don't come near me, just stand there."
The butler was puzzled.
But as this was the master's command, he had no choice but to step back.
After retreating to the spot designated by Zhong Manhua, the butler tentatively spoke up, "Madam, did Second Miss cause some trouble again?"
"She always does that. You mustn't get angry; you'll only hurt yourself."
Zhong Manhua ignored the butler.
Her head throbbed, her ears buzzed, and she could hear nothing else but the one line before her eyes.
If it were before, she certainly would have thought it was just a prank.
