Chapter 2: Unusual
[The Next Day]
(Kaaru was at home while he was exhausted after going to the hospital that yesterday. He was seated on a chair and Junri gives him a coffee)
KAARU: I thought you said it has side effects
JUNRI: Also good effects for people who need stimulation (Sits opposite to him) You have been acting strange lately, you need something to work it out.
KAARU: (Looked at the coffee and took a sip from it) Delicious.
JUNRI: Glad you like it. (He continues to drink it while Junri stared at him as she was surprised to see him alright) Kaaru, I'm really surprised about your condition. You seem to be alright.
KAARU: Well I don't know what really happened. (got up from his chair)
JUNRI: Alright. Remember that you are going to school tomorrow.
KAARU: I know. Goodnight Junri.
(He went up to his room and lied down on his bed. The next day at school in class, Dyna and his boys were eating junk foods like hamburger and french fries with ketchup. Spike was rushing his food as he finished two hamburger)
KEN: Damn you Spike, you eat like an animal. You are always in a haste when eating.
SPIKE: It's not your business Ken, I eat whatever I want. You are just saying that as if you don't eat like that in front of Raynell.
KEN: Don't call my girlfriend's name into this.
DYNA: Quiet both of you. I hate to see the way you two are not getting along.
SPIKE: Sorry Boss
DYNA: You should be sorry to yourself.
(Yuuto took his french fries and mix it up with the ketchup as he is seen with an upset face)
DYNA: What's with the face Yuuto? You are making yourself feel guilty.
YUUTO: It's nothing Dyna.
DYNA: I can't see nothing written on your face...
YUUTO: I said I'm fine. What else do you want to know?
(Yuuto left while Dyna was surprised same with his friends)
SPIKE: You see that Ken he called him by his name.
KEN: Yeah.
(Yuuto left the class and surprisedly saw Kaaru. Kaaru was shocked as he remember what Yuuto did to him the last time. Yuuto pass by without harming or touching him. Kaaru saw Dyna and was also shocked)
DYNA: (Calls him) Hey you!
KAARU: (Thought) Oh no. I'm dead.
DYNA: You try to run away from us?
KAARU: No I'm not—
(Dyna landed him a punch on his gut and Kaaru goes on his kneels holding his stomach)
DYNA: It's that what you think? you little twerp
(Kaaru felt the pain while he touches his chest and remember the reddish part he saw on the x-ray)
SPIKE: Remember that you are our slave, so go get us something to eat.
KEN: The last time he saw us, he didn't buy us that bowl of ramen we sent him to.
KAARU: No (He got up) I would not do it (Clenches his fist)
DYNA: (They were surprised and he was angry) Looks like you want to fight (He was about to punch him and Kaaru dodge all of a sudden and he was shocked) What da...
SPIKE: Was I the only one that saw that? (He said while opening his mouth in shock)
KEN: No... Not at all.
DYNA: Let's see if you can feel this.
(He was about to kick him straight to his stomach but Kaaru dodge that also. Students were surprised to see the two fighting and Hiro came as she was surprised. The only thing Kaaru did was dodging every punch Dyna displayed. Yuuto came back and was surprised same with Chen)
CHEN: What Kaaru.
(Dyna was angry and furious as he was about to give him an ultimate punch straight to the face)
SPIKE: Oh no the ultimate receiver
(But Kaaru dodge it and punch him on the jaw and Dyna fell. The whole students were shocked)
1st BOY: Dyna is defeated.
2nd BOY: The new student missed the ultimate receiver
3rd BOY: No one has ever missed that.
1st GIRL: Wow he's amazing.
2nd GIRL: And cute too.
KAARU: (gasped) How did I do that?
YUUTO: (astonished) Who's this guy? This is not what I'm thinking.
(Later after class was over, Kaaru opened his locker and kept his books, he then shut it and saw Hiro standing close to it and he was shocked)
HIRO: Hello.
KAARU: Hi... Have we met?
HIRO: Oh it's that a question.
KAARU: I'm sorry.
HIRO: Anyway, my name is Hiro Shinjiro. And you are?
KAARU: Kaaru Kagawa.
HIRO: Kaaru... Okay.
(The two walked together as they engaged in conversation. Yuuto looks at them suspicious while he drinks a juice from the straw. Students were surprised to see Hiro)
1st BOY: Hey Hiro, looking good
HIRO: Oh thanks Aki
1st GIRL: Yo Hiro, got any of those interesting novels.
HIRO: Yeah sure. You can come to my house after school to get it.
(Group of three girls came)
2nd GIRL: Hey Hiro. Would you come with us to the cinema?
HIRO: Maybe next time.
KAARU: Wow you are really popular.
HIRO: Thanks... You asked if we have met. Right?
KAARU: Yeah for that you were very familiar
HIRO: Making friends is a type of thing I love to do.
KAARU: And why? Does she want to be my friend (while having it as a thought)
HIRO: You'll know when you get there on Facebook. Look It's fun and also my favorite hobby. Everyone sees me as one of the popular girls around. (She said as she operating to use her phone)
KAARU: You are one exceptional girl. I wish I can be popular.
HIRO: Of course you are. (Shows him the video between Kaaru and Dyna fighting on YouTube)
KAARU: What. I am
HIRO: Taking down the number one student in this school really gained your popularity.
KAARU: (Saw the views) Man, Look at the views, fifty thousand for just seventeen minutes... About that guy, who's he?
HIRO: Oh you mean Dyna?
KAARU: Hmm Mmm
HIRO: He's just one of the biggest school bully around. Dyna is not actually his real name. His real name is Yoichi Ishii.
KAARU: Then why is his name Dyna.
HIRO: Because he blow up a shop when he was playing with a dynamite.
KAARU: (Astonished) It's that how he is dangerous.
HIRO: Yeah, so his friends gave him the name Dynamight.
KAARU: I see. Popularity also gain a person with a nickname... Do you have a nickname?
HIRO: (Astonished) What... Yes...No. I can't tell you that. It's really embarrassing.
KAARU: Alright. I wouldn't disturb you for that.
(Kaaru and Hiro came back to class)
1st Girl: Hey that's him (The students all applaud for Kaaru and He was amazed)
KAARU: Wow I'm really popular
2nd Girl: Wow... Eito
KAARU: (Astonished) Eito? (Surprisedly, a boy pass by Kaaru and he looks at him with amazement. Eito was surrounded by girls)
1st GIRL: Wow Eito you are looking gorgeous today.
2nd GIRL: And more handsome.
(Eito pass by them without saying a word)
3rd GIRL: Wow I love his scent.
4th GIRL: Me too (She said as she fainted)
KAARU: Now Hiro tell me who's that guy?
HIRO: Eito Satoshi. One of the popular guy around. He's rich, intelligent and calm.
(Kaaru saw Eito seated and he opens his books and started reading)
KAARU: I see. I thought I'll be the number one popular guy around here.
(After school, Kaaru was heading back home. Suddenly, He saw two people wearing strange clothes. They looked like ninja clothes, only they had a symbol that look like a tree, painted all over blue. They both have swords and they were following him. He suspected them to be villains, so he walked fast and they still did the same)
(He runs away and the two men pursued him. Kaaru ran to his left direction and it came to a dead end at the wall. The men came in. Kaaru was in great fear not knowing what to do)
1st MAN: You can run but you can't hide.
KAARU: What do you want?
2nd MAN: Nothing much (He brought out his sword as he was about to kill. Unknowingly, someone came and kicked him. It was a man on hood)
KAARU: (Surprised) Who's that?
(The two men saw him as they were shocked)
1st Man: The hell are you?
(He begin to fight him as they were displaying their stunt. The guy punches the 1st Man's stomach. The 2nd Man came and was about to slice his head but he dodge all of a sudden)
KAARU: (Surprised) Cool (As he thought)
(The two men ran to attack him. Suddenly, the guy uses his supernatural power, lightning to clear an opening from them. The men were shocked same with Kaaru)
2nd MAN: He's one of them (They stayed back as they left. Kaaru looks at the man who covered his face with hood)
KAARU: Thanks but who are you anyway? (The man uses his lightning and Kaaru covered his face from the bright and it was gone. He opened it and the man was gone)
"So during my life in this city, I didn't notice a man with supernatural powers living in the underworld with great potential influence. Well his face wasn't shown enough, so that I can take a good picture of his face. But now just got to stick together to be aware of these people as we are all living in a cruel world"
