The manager froze for a moment, not believing his ears. "Sir, with all due respect, I am just doing my Job and I think she already got you seduced."
Crawford clenched his jaw, "So what? She's a woman and I'm a man. Isn't that how life goes? If I see what I like, then I go for it. What's so bad about that?"
The manager was about to say more, when Lucia interrupted him.
"Excuse me, sir, you're being rude and unfair. Even if I find this gentleman attractive, I'm not stupid enough to flirt with him while I'm at work."
The manager got triggered by her words, as he glared at her. He couldn't believe she was talking back to him, and in front of a customer, too. He felt his authority and pride being challenged, and he hated it.
Just as he opened his mouth to yell at her, Crawford interrupted, "I would like another bottle of red wine. Would you be so kind as to get it for me, miss?"
